What do people think of the Fantasy LM and race Cars ?

By Fantasy LM and race Cars I mean those created for GT3 that don't actually exist:

FTO
Imprezza

Altezza
S2000
Camaro
RX7

I am amazed at how different their characteristics are (with default settings). For me they are as follows:

FTO - typical 4wd characteristics but very quick
Imprezza - a bit easier to turn and not quite as quick

Altezza - a beast to tame especially with max hp, also hard to see over the rear spoiler, generally hard to drive well
S2000 - only driven once and hated it, very twitchy
Camaro - awesome car but careful on the throttle, can be driven quick
RX7 - seems to handle max power best out of the lot

I also got tricked by the Altezza colour schemes. I have probably sold a couple thinking they were the same silver colour as the one i have not realising the differences are in trim eg wheel rims, mirrors and a few other bits.

I would actually like to see more of them in future games. I noticed that in GTC there were a few more. I might need to get that game as now I am near to completing GT3 the Fantasy LM and race Cars are my favorites.
 
I have found some old threads on this topic but my main prupose was just to have a discussion on this issue.

This is more of a conversation topic than a please help me topic.

I agree that at times people need to make better use of the search button but I do not agree that it is a valid response to all threads.
 
i love the fto becuase it handled like a dream compared to all other 4wd cars. I always use it as a base car when making 4wd hybrids.

Aaagh so it can be turned/tuned into a good car then. I just haven't yet played too much with the settings. My standard 1st round of changes did improve it but not enough. Will need to test some more.
 
Because then 1000hp would be even moreunrealistic than it already is...

If so it is Forest Gump and people call me Forest Gump (or gumpy for short).

not unless you make them realistic, like a supra with a RB26DETT
(skyline R34 engine). Top Secret did this...very nice lol. The owner of the company was arrested in England for speeding down a highway at midnight :lol:
 
Mate, if you want dream cars, you have to get GTC. I won't ruin it for ya but check the prize car lists and if you like them as much as you say, you'll have bought it quicker than you can say "crikey".

I looked at that prize car list and yes I am very close to making the purchase. I have said before I would like more LM Cars and there are certainly more of them in GTC and quite a few different ones too.
