Well, that's good to hear fellas.

But how are you coping with the choppy framerate and screen tear? I'm just not impressed with the graphics.

BOII has me hooked completely at the moment.

No I am liking it too. Sometimes the missions are frustrating but it is definetly one of the best games this year. I have not even completed the game, because I didn't know how to unlock weapon slots. This game gets a solid 9/10 from me.:cheers:

Speedster, I'm not seeing the choppy bits in Fc3, or I'm looking through them if you know what I mean. Sometimes the edges of things are rough but it's not that irritating..
 
I no what your talking about speedster, buts its a minor irretant rather than game breaking
 
Hmm... well, screen tearing and choppy framerate is kind of a deal breaker for me... perhaps acceptable in other games, but not shooters or driving games.

Maybe I'll dive into it once I'm done with Black Ops II.
 
I install all my games before playing them. And FC3 just didn't suck me in the way BOII did. That game oozes with polish!

Finished it BTW, what a COD experience! Among the best I've had.

Carlos, can you post your sytem specs for the X360 gaming? And do you play with any motion refresh enhancements turned on?
 
Of course a game that only has 1 maybe 2 routes to travel is going to run much smoother. I would love to see a 60fps game like COD introduce a sandbox style game but do not see it being possible this gen. I doo see the issues in FC3 that you descibed but the amount of action going on throughout the island once you head in that direction is unique to everyone's play through. COD offers an almost identical experience for everyone.
 
Took me 4 attempts to do the first mission, not because it was hard but it froze 3 times just before the autosave. I did a bit more storyline after but then decided it was more fun to get a car and get a pack of enemy vehicles chasing me, they could make some decent rally stages out of this map :D

I don't know, I installed it and just play.. I have the black 120gb 360. Elite version or something..
 
Still haven't played this much but earlier was doing some co-op missions and was getting quite annoyed, during the missions it would say that I had levelled up my gun (the magnum), and I think the first time I got to level 7 with it and it said I'd unlocked a few more attachments but when I got in to the lobby again and went to put one on it showed the marker to show that I had unlocked it but it was still locked and the gun still said level 2. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else, I did 3 missions and each time got to level 7 or 8 with that gun only for it to be reset after. Also my player level wouldn't increase from anything done in the games but I'm not too bothered about that.

I think the co-op missions are very good and definitely worth playing if you've got the game, but after them I think I'll trade this in and use some of the money for Trials Evolution DLC.
 
I made the plunge and bought it for the Xbox. So far, I'm not impressed, and I'm not blaming the sucky last FarCry either. The eyecandy is there and always has been. Put it this way, after reading many reviews I guess I was expecting a little more. Oh well. New map packs out for BO2. That should last me another 6 months or so...:banghead:
