The 3 open wheel race cars are faster, though the Minolta IMO has a better top speed. Also, any group C car is direct competition to the Minolta and the LMP are comparable.
Track down a Nissan R92CP Race Car. Tune it up as much as you can. Boom. Something like 950kg weight, 1075hp. I've hit over 240 on the Mulsanne Straight with it (with chicanes). I've also hit 265 with it at Indy.
Just about any of those Group C cars from that era are scary fast. Nissan R92 and R89, Toyota GT1, Mazda 787B, Sauber Mercedes C9... All should do a pretty good job of hanging with the Minolta, if not beating it.
