It took me exactly 8 minutes to find that out.
As soon as he started to harass that horse.

Luckily i got my money back from the videostore.

I wouldnt be surprised if Tom Green was severely molested or beaten as a child. He is twisted. I mean, what kind of person tosses off a horse, skins a moose and wears its skin, licks the bone protruding from his friends compound fracture, beats a cripples legs with a golf club and tosses off an elephant all in one movie?

weakest plot ever. and almost no research...how do they expect to turbocharge a high-compression Spoon engine? the movie sucked, the cars were alright. that Ferrari would've murdered the Supra easily (they said they only put $10,000 into it).

they really needed more footage of the Charger, too. more footage of the Charger blowing the doors off of the Supra. and every other rice rocket in the "movie."

oh, look - i'm queer.

You're joking, right? In real life that Supra would have absolutely raped that Ferrari. But no, in The Slow and The Rediculous a 700hp Supra is dead frickin' even with a stock Ferrari. Heck, if they were both stock it would be damn close between the two.

Either way, it's still the worst movie ever. No way a 900hp Charger, 700hp Supra, and 300hp Ferrari are going to be anywhere near eachother in a race, but noooo.....according to them they're all dead even. Horrible horrible horrible.

I liked the movie.
I don't give a **** what you other people think. I liked it and there is nothing you can do to change my mind.

i haven't been around many, but i don't believe stock Ferraris sound like that. i could be wrong, i just assumed that it wasn't stock.

Never thought they'd change the sounds a bit to make it more interesting?

That movie was plain BS, from the beginning to the end. Simple as that.

The cars. From having an history of streetracing in the past, i can tell you the cars look nowhere near what you're seeing in that movie. Why put these show cars in, then? because "flash" sells.

People. They group themselves by crew, not by race.

The races. Unbelievely long, ridiculously stupid. People don't line 4 wide, and they try to go somewhere where there are no houses (notice, in the first race scene, they are in a downtown street.) like a deserted strip of road in an industrial sector.

Plus all these other things that made no sense... the Civics that pass under the rigs, the SR20s in the Civic engine bay, the Supra that emerges from the dead (good luck doing that with such a car) the blown manifold welds, the Nitrous fire...

It might not have been bone stock, but I doubt it had any sort of serious mods done to it. It would have to be modded out the ass to be next to a 700hp single turbo Supra, especially through 3rd and 4th gear.

When I went to Europe for a class trip back in the day, I saw a guy pull up to some flower stand in a badass Ferrari that looked just like the one in TF&TF. Me and a classmate staired at the car for like 10 minutes while the guy was buyin' some flowers. When he came back he was kinda weirded/freaked out by our presence and us taking pics of the car, but after we made it known why we were looking at his car, he was really cool about it. I don't remember crap about it, other than the fact that it was the most incredible sounding(considering it was free from any type of modifications) car I had ever heard in my life.

There's a few 360 Modena's, etc. in my neighborhood, but the guys who own them aren't the type who ever "get on it." They hardly ever drive them, and when they do...they drive slower than my grandma does in her new Civic.

I'm done rambling now. Carry on.

you'e right, i assumed that the sound wasn't doctored, which it very well may have been. Ferraris don't usually sound as sprayed like that - they have more of a high-pitched, "flat" noise. if they did screw with it, they didn't do much of a job - it sounded more like a stock Porsche than a (stock) Ferrari.

good point.

I dunno... I think that takes the cake. Although I think the people with the minivan in the picture above have a 1960's Beetle that they don't drive which they refuse to put in their garage, probably lowering my land value like $25,000.

yes dom's sister was HOT
i like the movie also even though it was BS
yes i believe the ferrari race was bull****, put $5,000 on fixing up a twin turbo supra engine and u can burn the F355, but in this case u guys said $10,000.
what i hate mostly was the fact that mexicans were more into the races then asians were...& asians were the bad guys WTF is that?
i mean c'mon the races in california are dominated by asians and whites theres no mexican racing, there mostly into lowriders
oh yea the s2000 that johnny tran "the bad guy" was driving was owned by the asian guy playing GT2 in the first race......

only white people in my hood...oh yeah, there are a couple of persians also...i thought i might have to call the INS ;)

I liked it to tell the truth. People just rant on about how much it sucks just because of how unrealistic the movie is. I'd like to see all you people that hated it actually try to create an automative movie.

Have you seen the real-life video of a Veilside Supra racing an F40? They're on a proper track, drafting each other, it's very close. The Supra would have destroyed the Ferrari in the movie.

For the record, I thought the movie was OK-ish, if you're a really thick car nut who wants some mindless entertainment. If I completely and utterly switch off my brain, I like to watch it.

Oh, and wazzuuup your poll options make you look like a cretin. If you want to get a genuine opinion, post a poll in the Movies and TV forum, and put simple options in, graded from high to low, and which don't try to manipulate the voter's choice.

I do find it interesting that all of the members that I respect here have posted replies saying that the movie was rubbish. See my earlier comments about brains.
