I have created my own kind of fast lap board in GT5 for the TG test track, looking for any recommendation for which car to buy and see if it makes the grade, I use a standing start for all my laps and do only until I get a clean lap and so on, I don't use F1 or x1 so the leaderboard isn't decimated so here's my list of top 10 so far
All are done with race soft tires, only gear ratio tuning and abs at 1 is the only aid
ID is R35-SKYL1N3 if you want to donate/loan cars just send them and post on here that you have done so and they will be included

You should give the Ford GT LM test car a try. Or The R390 race car :)

BTW: nice job getting the Enzo there, did you use any aids?

I do try to get more normal cars but any requests will be listened to! I will try get round to these cars and buy if needed, all are race soft and only abs at 1 is used

What Tires?

This. Plus, others: Which driving aids you have on? Which controller you're using for the lap times? Is the cars tuned or stock? And each car's specifications? It's highly recommended to mention these because to make sure the times are legit.

But either way, I'll be interested to seeing how this will go, esp. GT500s :)

EDIT: Slashed text flags "already answered".

Oh, thanks. Make sure you also rewrite them on the OP -- plus the tires used, so people won't have to surf the thread for the answers :)

And to extend on suggestions: Perhaps you could do some LM Race Cars, the fictitious ones, like the NSX Prototype? I understand the difficulties of obtaining them, so this is just a consideration :)

Yes I agree and will do so, I will do some of the gt500 race cars and any others I might have bother obtaining people can loan to me :P

Remember to check the board for any changes as they will be updated as they are done!

How about the Audi R8 '01 and the Mazda Furai concept...:)

I don't have the 01 but will put on list and furai is already there if you look to bottom of OP :)

My list (each car tuned for the track, no standing start, lap until I feel it's as fast as it's going to go)

Bentley Speed 8- 0:58.588
Toyota 88C-V - 0:58.951
Suzuki Escudo - 0:59.067
BMW V12 LMR - 0:59.292
Nissan R89C - 0:59.572
Mazda 787B - 0:59.897
Pescarolo C60 - 1:00.390
Mercedes CLKLM- 1:01.051
Ford GT Spec II - 1:01.602
Audi R10 TDI - 1:01.869

Yes. I don't like using standing starts to judge race time on a one minute track, as a significant portion of your time depends on straight line traction during launch, not to mention you're doing your lap on cold tires. How fast your tires warm up and how fast you can launch are misleading variables for finding out how fast a car will perform in an actual race (for the most part)

I did these a few months back, stock with sports softs. Plenty more time to be found with a few of them.

Pagani Zonda R '09 (772Bhp) - 1:08.144

Mclaren F1 '94 (GTR Specs 616 Bhp) - 1:08.598

Mclaren F1 Road '94 (657 Bhp) - 1:09.404

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09 (1018 Bhp) - 1:10.152

Ferrari Enzo 02' (685 Bhp) - 1:10.535

Nissan GT-R Vspec '09 (517 Bhp) - 1:10.578

Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (C6) '09 (652 Bhp) - 1:10.897

Mclaren MP4-12c 10' (611 Bhp) - 1:10.900

Ferrari 458 Italia '09 (573 Bhp) - 1:10.954

Mclaren F1 GTR spec is no oil change or engine upgrades, aero upgrades, racing gearbox/suspension and weight reductions, basically the racing specs, I would have used the power restrictor to get it down to 600bhp but it wasnt in the game back then. The Zonda was a bit of a handful, it will go a fair bit faster on sports softs if you can tame the power.

I like driving the Audi R8 LMS race car '09, don't know if you have it. I won it at the Nurburgring 4h endurance.
Or the 458 :)
