So....Im not sure if this thread exists, im not here to duplicate threads and get # of posts. If the mods think this thread shouldnt exist, by all means please close it.

Now, back to the subject. Well, after grinding the new Seasonal events, Spa mostly, we all know we leave the race with a ton of cash. There are people like me, who have tickets cars etc already and they dont want anything specific, unless they see something really interesting in the UCD. After all, I got to spend those 20 mil cr. I found out a fast way tonight completely by luck (thats why it may already exist in another thread). What you'll do is go the Licences. Enter which one you want (I entered the 1st one). Then dont enter the race, go to the nest licence event using that little arrow thing that moves you to the next one instantly without having to exit. Do that 5 times and exit. You will find a fully refreshed UCD. Not only that, but after I did that 2 times, I collected:

Honda S800 Race Car '68
Honda Mugen Motul Civic Si Race Car '87
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09 in Deep Red M/Chocolate M 0/0/0
Chrysler Crossfire
Mazda Furai grey with red wing
Calibra SUper Touring Car '94
350 Z Concept LM Race Car

There are two options:

1) Im a VERY lucky person (life and GT5 has proved me otherwise)
2) Licences who refresh the UCD give better cars?

You might as well try it and see for yourself! :)

Edit: OMG did it again and got another 0/0/0 Bugatti in Bronze M/Brown M!!

I've done the same thing. I'm haven't gotten anything better than any normal ucd refresh but it is quicker to refresh the ucd using the track skipping method in the license test like you mentioned.

Apparently it is a known method. Yea, I thought as such. If everyone knows it, maybe this thread has no meaning after all. 👍

Edit: Hmm......just got a AC Cars 427 S/C '66 in black with gold stripes

Really? Didnt know that....thats why I keep getting kind of rare race cars and such? Hmm, thanks for info 👍

No such thing as a "rare" car. 0/0/0 and it MAY be "uncommon" but really, at the end of the day, there is no rare car. Whats rare on MYGT is based off of users garages which could be tracking 0/0 cars, may not be up to date, user may not like some cars and never buy them, user may not buy EVERY version of EVERY car and even more importantly it doesnt account for the players that dont use MYGT now.

Then there are the tickets which they are adding to the game, devaluing the "rare" in even more cars (I am NOT AT ALL against the new tickets ;) ). And last but not least there is trading. Trading happens with those that have opened hundreds of different tickets, swapped cars etc... so really now almost every car you just need to ask and have the player who has it willing to trade within an acceptable timeframe for you (may of us that have several different cars like that have trading schedules backed up 1, 2, 3 months in advance or just want to randomly trade so we dont acknowledge we have the cars all the time)

Just figured I would let you know about that... and for most users that have played a while we are well aware of the UCD cycling by the licences 👍

Heh, ok appreciate the info. I do know however that there are only uncommon cars and no rare cars. I just thought I should write it plainly fro everyone to understand. Having collected pretty much anything in GT5 that is expensive and/or hard to find, I have come to know the value of each car. However, what hapenned last night was something I havent experienced before. As a user said, it is propably based on my gaming day, so everytime I refreshed the UCD, I found many hard-to-find cars all there, including (first time for me) 2 0/0/0 Bugatti's in different two-tone. Well, either way, thanks for stopping by and I wish you a Happy New Year :)

This method has been known for a long time. Old news.

As I have said in the OP, if this thread already exist, the mods might as well go ahread and close the thread, GTPlanet doesnt need unecessary threads, im well aware of that, nor am I here to get # of posts. I couldnt care less for that. I just thought I should inform the minority of people who might be unaware of this method, as im on GT5 myself since its release and I never knew about it. 👍

Edit: There, I also corrected the title so that anyone who knows about it, doesnt waste his time here. :)

Yes, there are threads about this somewhere. Licenses are the most common method, but using races is faster, more so if you use a small track I believe. Load track -> start -> quit -> start -> quit -> start -> quit -> start -> quit -> start -> quit -> exit to check UCD. That way you only load anything once, then load the menus when done. Licenses only advance a day when you load a new one.

Bugatti Veyron always comes with 0/0 in UCD. Besides full red and full black, all other variants of Veyron are dual tones.
And I still have no luck in getting White/Red Veyron :(

This is the fastest way to refresh the UCD by the way

+1

I'd like to add that if you use this method in B-Spec, the process of starting and quitting is much quicker as it doesn't involve hitting Start or moving a cursor. An added boost can be obtained by having your first (far left) BoB available for offline B-Spec and choosing the very first race in the very first series in the very first tier (also requires no moving of a cursor and the races in this series are on small tracks with only 7 opponents).

Hi, For me a newcomer to GT5 , It's a new thingy and I thank u guys for all da info ... now I know how to cycle my UCD :)
Tq

The UCD isnt random.
Its has a order of each car depending on your game day 👍

ENTERSANDMAN is quite correct. Go to this thread and look at the UCD list in TornadoAlley's signature, it will help you predict was is going to come up next in your UCD. Unless you are in an uncharted area, that is. In which case, your contribution to the UCD list would be very appreciated!

With the opening of this thread, I wasnt expecting to surprise the "big guys" on here, or the GT veterans. Mainly it was for newcomers and people like me, who notice these things 1 year after the game is released , glad I could be of help!
