Fastest charger ever!

So I've got this Cingular phone.. Samsung something-or-other, I think. It's not mine, it's from work (on-call).

Anyway, it just beeped at me to tell me that the battery was low. So I plug it in. It beeps when I plug it in and it says "Battery Full". I unplug it from the charger, and it shows a FULL bar for the battery.

How 'bout that, huh? Full charge in two seconds.

Granted, it wasn't actually charged.. I reset the phone and it went back to "Battery Low" and now it's charging normally.

I just thought it was funny. :)
 
My phone will read fully charged a few minutes after I plug, but I know better. It's got a great battery life though - I can go about 4 days on one charge.
 
My old Siemens A50 used to do exactly the same thing.

What phone do you have? My T630 (Very light on the extras) lasts about a week on a full charge and that's with light/medium use.
 
I've never had that problem. My last few phones has been Ericsson - Sony Ericsson. I forget the name of it :p, but my current orange, twisty, walkman phone thing lasts upto 2 days on a single charge.
 
I think the record for my phone was about 15 days or so after a full charge, with sporadic but very real use over the two weeks. It usually gets about 5 days with the normal battery in it, 9 with the original battery enxtension in it and 12 days with the final battery design in it.
