Has anyone ever had the fastest lap indicator (and savable ghost replay) not update? I'm racing in the WRS and we save ghosts to verify fast laps and I was chasing and finally passed my ghost with a faster lap. I quit out and saved my ghost only to find that it was the earlier slower one. I thougt maybe I had a crack baby moment and didn't actually go faster so I continued to race and finally beat my ghost again only for it to happen AGAIN!

Any information available on this glitch?

Thanks,

-Scott

I think this happened to me not long ago. Luckily I was just racing some laps for fun, but I noticed that on one lap I was chasing my ghost and beat it, and on my next lap I was chasing that same ghost that I just beat. Normally the ghost gets updated immediately. When I beat it again the lap right after it finally switched to my fastest lap I had just put down. Never tried saving so I don't know what would have happened. Hope it's not something that happens too often, that must of been extremely frustrating :banghead:

Yeah Shig.... I get it alot on Tuskuba, I practice my drifting on that track often so I turn alot of laps, and it seems like 8-9 out of 10 register but then 1 or 2 dont???
Never really thought about it, except now when I'm racin the WRS I might get mad if it happens on a good lap..

I was going to bring this up.

This has happened to me this week on WRS as well. It will register how far in front/behind you are at T1 (E.G 19.333 +0.169). But it doesn't do this for T2 sometime, it just shows the split time for the current lap like it's your first one, and in the end, doesn't record your lap as the fastest. It's quite odd seeing your last lap faster than your best lap.

It's not like I have next to no memory card space either, and it's never happened before that I know of. Like you, I'm dreading if I actually do a killer lap time, but I'm unable to save that ghost.

If you have that, you'll might have cut the track somewhere. I had this as well in my ESES Laguna Seca qualification, because I cut a bit at the start of the lap. Maybe that also happened in these cases.
