Just curious how fast people have been able to get around this track.

I've actually tested about 20-25 different cars on total race time and total lap times and I've found that the fastest lap I've turned is 37.943 seconds in the Suzuki GSX R/4 Concept. This famous GT4 200 A-Spec pts. beast also clocked in a 3:12.852 overall time for the entire race. Anyone else have any cars to share lap times of?

My best times so far are 38.214 for 1 lap and 3:15.002 for the race total...I used a Opera Performance S2000...I have 3 contenders for best car for all 5 tests. The Opera, the Amuse S2000 R1 and the Spoon S2000 Race Car.The Spoon own my Tokyo R246 best time and the Amuse has the G.V. East time with the Opera holding the other 3...I like the GSX R/4 but I haven't given it the right tune yet and thus is still a step below these 3 for me...Nice times there @ the OP!...Also I've never hated the AI as much as I do in the Tokyo Bay race...

Never tried any of those S2000 cars. I tried the premium one and I wasn't too impressed. I've really run the gamut in this race. I tried two rally cars (Xsara and the SX4), two Lamborghinis, 3 TVRs, and the Autozam as well (which really is decent on a short track). The GSX R/4 though, that car seems to have more grip than anything. You could throw that car into any corner and it will hold and not lose any speed.

Try a Kart :p they turn pretty quick times :)

Did use the kart but didn't really come away too impressed with their lap times as opposed to the Xsara rally car (FF and very impressed), the Autobacs MRS (felt glued) and the aforementioned GSX R/4.

Ran the Opera just now. Turned a 3:13.798 and missed a sub 38 second lap due to lap traffic. It was just a bit rough for my liking as the car wasn't optimally set up for the tight portion.

Hi

Lotus Elise 111R RM with racing softs. The best so far was 3m10s700 someting and a lap time of 37.600 something, almost 37.7s. The car is a true beast at this track, my grinding machine at the moment, passes the leading Cooper S at the end of the second lap, starts lapping backmarkers at the end of lap 4.

Tried before the Garaiya and an Elise '96 RM, who why tought it was amazing with its 645kg, but no match for the 111R.

And I was able to rollover the Elise '96 in this very race, it cost me a chassis rebuild :D

Usually run around a 40 second lap with my PDI Kart. It all adds up to a great run of a little over 3 minutes.

May I ask why it cost you a Chassis Rebuild? Crashes have no effect on wear whatsoever.

68 500 Cr. or so...

I used to think so too... But, before the rollover my normal lap times with open track in the Lotus where about 39.5-39.6, after the roll I was unnable to go down 40s. The front end lost precision and started to lift the inside rear wheel at turns. In fact, the car had about 100 miles, and the chassis rebuild was already available.

I haven't even gotten under 3:20 yet, or under 0:39/lap. Then again, maybe I should stop driving my Fiat 500 '08. I just love driving that car!

37.265s with the 111R Elise yesterday

PS: All my times SRF OFF, altough my tests indicate, this car, Racing Softs, SRF completely irrelevant
