Except the Joey Logano Gamestop Camry (Fantasy), they're all the same. Hence "stock car".

The Gamestop car is the same also. Absolutely no difference performance wise. It is just a myth that this car is better than any of the other NASCAR cars. The only difference is that it is cheaper to do an engine rebuild and chassis restoration. It also takes less time to do an engine break in. Other than that, no difference spec or performance wise.

One assumes then that, since it arrives with 25hp more and 19lbft more than any of the other stock cars, it's just broken-in as new?

Not sure I follow you there. The car ends up at 892hp broken in just like the rest of them. Thats what I was saying. If I recall right, maybe mine did arrive with more hp than the rest of them BEFORE engine break in, but still ended up at 892hp, like the rest of them.

All the stock cars arrive, as bought, at 824hp and 72kgm (521lbft - your values may vary as that's been converted). The Gamestop arrives at 849hp and 75kgm (540lbft).

From what you're saying - if it takes less time to break-in - the Gamestop simply starts further ahead, but everything ends at the same level.

This would mean the Gamestop is, stock for stock (pun partially intended), faster but for totally broken-in cars they're all the same. Thus we're both right.

Fair enough Famine. Peace. 👍

Do you guys really want to get me started on the fastest car bit? lol. I don't think I really need to say anything here, lol.

I once read that Fords were about a tenth of a second faster in qualifying @ Daytona, but a margin that small could easily be down to skill or even lap to lap differences. And it might have been pre-Spec II.

I prefer the Chevrolets myself.
