Go for it, James. That'll be a landmark time! 👍

Id reckon, sub 3.00 in an F1, also tried this earlier and was so rusty I fell apart on the track  the time wasnt even worth repeating here

That would be a landmark time there daan.

I'll tell ya guys what, I'd TRADE ALL OF MY RECORDS for this lap time if I could. I want this time so badly, now that I know it's possible, it's just one of those things you want to accomplish and know you can, but at the moment it's just a bit beyond reach - I'll probably get it eventually, but I'd love to have it as soon as possible.

I'd consider this my crown jewel if I got it. :)

I unfortunately did not break 3 minutes, but this was my final attempt at breaking the 3 minute barrier.

3'00.407 :)

I left time at T1 that I can't get consistently, about .4 and somewhere another .5, but leaving .9 on a track that long is like leaving .3 on a track that's a minute long. It's just so hard to get. :nervous:

Especially when the course is as technical as Complex String.

SharkPort replay coming soon!

A little off topic, but if anyone on NTSC with a SharkPort gets a good time - send me your replay (any track) and I'll post a video on my website with your name next to it.

2:58.016

hey, only a few years too late lol
If anyone's still interested I have the replay or could maybe persuade a friend to make a video.

94/s of course, no cutting, clean.

Yeah, it is way late though Sough, and I do not play anymore, and since I am into writing games now, I do not think I am going to bother playing anymore.

I remember your guys's comments... Do it during the time the game was still ACTIVE.

2'06.560 at S4 on GT4 with giving everyone a 6 month head start is still the wheel record, and NTSC record, and is only bested by PAL controller of Holl01. (who took months to do so)

So, great job on getting under 3:00 Sough. Took you hours upon hours, or you would have done it before.

Or just maybe you use an emulator?

Doesn't matter, a game is a game is a game, and I'll make money writing one. So there.

Wow that was quick, thanks for managing to make it polite and humble as usual. It's cool though. Good luck with the games; you're a smart dude when you put your mind to it.
