Just went to the store and grabbed some candy. What is your favorite kind? I like all hard candy like Gobbstopers, I like Mikeandikes and stuff like that. As you can tell I am bored but share your sweet dreams with all of GTP.

Shock Tarts. And they have some sort of promotion running in which you can win something if your candy package says "Winner!" The odds are one in ten, and I've purchased no less than forty packages since they've started. The only thing I won was a free package of Shock Tarts, but I can't remember where that even went.

Hershey bars. Plain, milk chocolate, Hershey bars. The big ones. And the normal size. The smaller ones don't taste the same as the big ones...

And M&Ms.

Anything Reese's. Mmm.
True that. I also love how if you eat two packages you get your daily fat content for the day:) who cares though... so delicoius. I'm also a hardcore cotton candy fan... I think that qualifies as a "candy"....

Nestle Crunch, even if Shaq endorses them. Hershey's Cookies n Cream bars aren't bad either.

Erm, what are Rockets?

From this site:

"Rockets are one of the best treats you can get on Halloween. One of the joys of them is the fact that you can play with them as well, I used to build pyramids with mine. They're also fun to eat as well, with their tart taste and powdery texture they can't be beat."

Ah, yeah. Those are called Smarties over here.

We have a similar treat called "Smarties" in the US.

SMARTIES! I couldn't remember that. Yeah. I hate those. All that compacted, colored sugar candy is sick. Chocolate, caramel, nougat, nuts, cookie... that makes a good candy.

Don't you actually lose weight by eating Smarties?

Um, probably no more than they actually make you smart.

No, you don't loose weight. But, I heard that you can get smarter though. :p

Jolly Ranchers!

Jolly Ranchers!

Jolly Ranchers were a huge deal in my junior high. They'd become a kind of currency.

Can you guess what happened then?

They went the way of Nerds and AirHeads and Alexander the Grape?

Nope. The stupid school banned them. Yep. They banned a particular kind of candy. That just seems stupider and stupider as time goes on.

Oh, and I forgot I like Nerds. An exception to the compressed sugar rule.

OMG I just remembered that my Mom's brother worked (and works) for Willy Wonka. He'd give my sister and I a big box of candy for Christmas. The box looked like a Willy Wonka treasure Chest. I didn't even like it much back then. Except the Nerds.

Why didn't they just buy a bag of Jolly Ranchers? $1.99 at most? Buy $10 worth of Jolly Ranchers and be the richest mofo at school.
