Like the title asks, what's your favorite car to drive and enjoy the Australian country with?

Also, what's your favorite car to race with through the Australian countryside with?

Mine, for now, are the Subaru BRZ with the wide body kit with sport parts added, and a stock 2017 Ford GT , respectively.

I'm just starting the game, how do they drive?
488 I think is probably one of the quickest cars for S1 (starts out right at the top of S1). Really fun to drive at any speed although it is quite tail happy, particular in 1st and 2nd gear. Tops out at around 210 MPH stock and should be able to beat most S1 cars in a straight line while still being pretty good in the corners.

The Viper ACR, meanwhile, I think is an amazing car for high speed circuits. It is miles ahead of most of the hypercars in the corners due to it's immense downforce although it lacks the power (645HP stock, but can be tuned to around 1200HP) and top speed of most cars in S2. You could probably take around half the corners on Goliath without using the brakes, and quite a few could even be taken flat out, which gives it a big edge over standard road cars. So much so that I was able to use a stock version to catch up to and overtake an S2 tuned Countach HE online, and make enough of a gap to make him quit the race. It's also quite good in slow speed corners as well, as the huge rear wing helps to prevent the car spinning out easily.

Note: The Viper ACR I'm referring to is the 2016 model that you get in one of the DLC's. I haven't bought the 2008 model yet.

That 488 GTB is one I definitely have to get.

I only have the VIP pass, so I'm missing out on the 2016 ACR

You can get a discounted 488 for doing one of the festival expansions (Yarra Valley Level 2 I think), otherwise you could hunt on the Auction House, or if you're lucky you can win it in a wheelspin like I did.

The 2008 Viper ACR is quite a cheap car and it should be very similar to the '16 model, just that it won't handle quite as well due to it being based on the older Viper, and it lacking the racing slicks.

I'm gonna do a 15 lap Goliath race when I get home. See what I can pull first. I got 13 wheelspins from doing a 5 lap race last night.

Driving: anything old and with modest power. Right now it's an Abarth 595 with straight pipes and cams.

Racing: heh. Racing's boring, especially with the Drivatars getting dumber every day.

Driving: 2017 Ford Focus RS Horizon Edition

Racing: 2015 Ford F150 Trophy Truck

Gotta love driving 'round in my Z.

I use two different tunes on it and switch regularily, one for casual one for hardcore.

Don't you just love it when you own your dream car in RL and you can play it in video games to really live out your dream? :D

Driving: Tough choice. Gonna have to go with my A Class Jeep Renegade. 6.2L V8 pushing nearly 500HP in a compact offroader means loads of air over the hills and a huge smile on my face. :D

Racing: Pagani Huayra BC. I beat a fully tuned Ford GT HE online on Goliath with a bone stock Huayra BC once. Such a hoot to drive.

My fully tuned Evo 8 MR with all the rally bits for racing since it handles so well on all terrain, for driving well a different car everyday.

My new favorite cruiser is the S800. Love it bone stock :)

Racing: Ford GT HE and Viper SRT-10 HE for the main map, Jeep Renegade for Blizzard Mountain (made it jelly :))

Ariel atom for city streets races.
Jaguar mk.II 3.8 for crusing/racing around country side roads.

Yes same here

I feel like most of the FR cars in the game are tainted by unrealistic amounts of oversteer. For me it takes the fun out of it if the car just slides wildly around, on power or not. Also, the faster cars seem to feel increasingly unrealistic and not much fun.

I've been really enjoying my mostly stock DC2 Integra Type R, my EK9 Civic Type R, and my Lancia Fulvia HF. Also my NSX Type R, and my FC RX-7.

To these ends, I really hope PG includes a lot more C and D class cars in future updates. And a lot more FWD cars too. There are almost as many Ferraris as FWD cars period. There are a lot of great 90s cars missing I feel like. Also, no JDM DC2 Integra front end? Really?

Well said. I agree with literally every point you made. In some RWD cars, I find that leaving the stock 1-way differential in helps to balance oversteer (street differential for cars with open diff).

If I could pick a favorite I might stop changing cars every 10 minutes.
There's just so many great cars I was never able to drive on a PS3 it's insane.

Kid - Candy Store. :)

Driving: changes every 10 mins
Racing: C110 Skyline GT-R Muscled out, pulling 809hp from it's LS3, it's a B Class Monster, Shame it requires AWD or it's basically undriveable.

Driving: F12. Crazy good looks, perfect sound, great balance. I used it to annihilate every drift zone.
Racing: Probably the Ultima GTR, even if I haven't done many races so far.

Like most, my favourite changes every 10 minutes. However, I do love the scream of classic N/A Porsches!

I did the Lamborghini VS Ferrari Championship (5 races) on the weekend, opting to drive different Lamborghini models as a kind of real word simulated test. I was surprised at how slow the Gallardo Superleggera LP570-4 felt compared with the Murcielago SV LP670-4, Huracan, Aventador SV, etc. The real life supercar world has moved on so much since the Gallardo Superleggera was introduced ~7 years ago.

Nah, but I wish I still had the time to paint like that.

I have a couple of cars that are favorites for both racing and cruising. For racing, it's between the 996 GT3 with straight pipes and 4.0 swapped Cayman GT4. For cruising the countryside, my choice is a stock black 930 Turbo.

Race - Lamborghini Centenario, it's so grippy it feels like cheating.
Cruise - BMW 507, one of the best sounding cars in the game.

Race: '16 Honda Civic Type R (which i can't get a Picture of, due to the Forza Gallery not working)

Drive/Cruise: Porsche 993 GT2 AKA Seijin
