Favorite Manufacturer

Like the others it is so hard to say. There are so many that I really like. If I had to choose a favorite, thouugh, I would probably choose Dodge. They have a vehicle that will satisfy just about every one of my automotive desires. :dopey: The Viper GTS being my favorite. The Ram is awesome for rallies and some road races. The Neon is a great handling little car. The Viper (SRT and GTS) will hang with the best of them. The Team Oreca race car handles great. The muscle cars are sweet.

A close second would probably be Chevy. What can I say? The Corvette is an swesome handling car. I couldn't believe how well it handled the first time I drove it. The C5R race car also handles very well. The Silverado SSR concept is one cool truck. I love driving it. I think Chevy's greatest strength is its selection of muscle cars. All sorts of Corvettes, Camaros, and the legendary Chevelle.

Next, I would say Ford. They have a nice selection of vehicles. The '05 Mustang handles well and sounds great. Can't complain about the looks, either. The Lightning is quick and agile. The GT is where it's at, though. That is a definition of a supercar. Incredible power, speed, and handling. It looks awesome. I just wish PD would have included more Ford muscle cars.
I couldn't agree with you more. You totally read my mind.

Nice description Syxx, and you are right about ford, i wish they included some more old ford muscle cars.. :(

Each of those companies have minimal cars in the game.👎

The Neon, come on! Driving it in real life and in GT4 is about as fun as doing this :banghead: all day! Although, the old Neon in GT2 was entertaining! Don't get me started with the trucks, :grumpy: especially in road races!

(however I do appreciate the classics, but I'd never drive them! :sly: )

Just my opinion. :O

Edit: Got a little out of hand with my feelings for American cars, sorry:guilty:

Ummm, OK. o.0

My 3rd favourite, has to be Nissan. One of my fave cars, the R92, is there, along with a bunch of classics, like the Silvia and the Skyline. They can beat cars in another class, that is higher. EG: I once used a fully modded Skyline (660 hp) against a fully modded Viper (about 700 hp) and the Skyline won. On Super Speedway too.

The only downside is the CUBE. They had to put that in the game! Can't even top 100 mph without slipstreaming!

My 2nd favourite, has to be Pagani Along with their awesome looks, the Zondas are fast, while still being controllable. Oh, and I love Italian cars.

But me, being a speed freak, think the Zonda is too slow for me, and a little on the pricey side. *cue angry shouts*

And, my favourite car brand is..... PESCAROLO! Especially the Judd. My 1107 hp, monster-of-a-car Judd is still fully controllable, and can beat the most famous group C race cars, and with a little tinkering, I got it to get 460 km/h. Too bad you can't tune the turning much, :(

P.S. IMO.

You do know that the Ram can beat a quite a few cars in GT4 and the Neon in GT4 is infact an SRT-4 and the fun with that is that it can smoke an S2000. Oh and would you prefer racing 800 different skylines with minimal differences?

No, I like Holden. Where'd you get BMW? :odd:
Your username, I am very observant.

Wow. Stock or modded? ._. [/offtopic]

^ I know. I'm not THAT oblivious. <_<

i like Nissan because it has the fastest car in the game which is the Nissan R92CP race car:) 👍

Yeah, like 1 hp faster. Has a higher top speed too. But the R92 still owns. *coughbrakesareawesomecough*

*Looks at the three posts above and quietly laughs to himself*
(By the way, this thread is asking you 'what your favourite manufacturer is, not what you think is the fastest and most coolest car is...)

Nissan or Honda sprung to mind when this thread's question was raised, as their legendary Japanese heritage consisting of history-changing race-drivers and road-rocket mainstay automobiles.

Also low budget economy cars to bank breaking economy cars.

Also my other faves are, Mazda and the ROTARY and BMW and MERCEDES BENZ. From McLaren F1 GTR to CLK GTR.

Hi, I would just like to say first off that the Ram is decent in GT4, but that is a well known glitch. Also I would like to add that I am aware the Neon is a SRT-4 and I'm still aware that it is garbage in the game and in real life! As for it beating a S2000, you are wrong. Please show me a situation where the S2000 would lose. The S2000 brakes better, turns better, has a better engine, accelerates smoother, and looks a whole lot less dorky! I agree there are too many skylines, but it adds character and diversity too the game.

JMO! :)

Well I definintly think the Neon SRT4 is the best FF car in the game, when I bought one gave it a oil change and got it some new rims and wing and all that other off-topic stuff. I took it to the test course 0-60 in 6 seconds and a top speed of 150+ all these stats are only bt memory but I am sure they are close enough:) But I did recently take it to the Laguna Seca to test the little FF beast when it was all the way tuned with 511hp! roll cage all the best parts of course in addition to RSS tires and it did a lap of only 1.25.371 now that is ****ing flying man. But I will see how fast I can get my all the way tuned 03 Honda S2000 Type V to do a lap around the Laguna Seca I,ll get back to you on this.

Oh and one of the othe best manufactuars are TVR I love the speed Twelve easily does a 1.02.xxx lap time at the Midfeild with RM tires

I was referring to the cars being stock, but you will find the same results with tuning. :sly: Also if power is your idea of a good car then yes the SRT-4 is the best FF, otherwise... what????

By numbers? Nissan. By preference? Nissan. Most powerful cars I have? Nissans.

30+ GT-R's in my carage proves that I'm right. :D

What I meant to say is that it is one of the best FF cars in the game, in my oppinion the SRT-4 and the Ford Focus are the same good.:) And I really have to specify this fact I do not think power is the only thing that makes a car a good car just to let you know. That is why my favorit Race Car in the game is the Mazda 787B 903hp and not my 1192hp Nissan R89CP you know what I mean:sly: in case you did not notice that is a 289hp Differance, the the reason I like the 787B more is because it has better tire life and drives to my liking.

To be honest with you. Do you think this is a good example for what you are trying to say. You just stated that power isn't everything to you, but then stated that you your favorite cars are a 787B, which has 903 Hp, and a R89CP, which has 1192 HP. So you picked one car that has enough power to rotate the planet, and another car that has enough power to rotate the solar system.

Point taken, your power hungry! :)

(granted the group c cars do also handle and brake well and I do like them, but just not a good example)

Lotus. I was going to say BMW until someone metioned the MS Elise. How could I forget that? The Elan is fantastic, drifty and low grip but really good fun.

Lotus all the way, by a substantial margin.

Looks like there are lots of Lotus fans here!
