Who is your favorite Radio Personality and what station are they on?

My favorite is Professor Dum Dum on WFMU-FM 91.1 in New Jersey. www.wfmu.org

He show, Professor Dum Dum's Lab is hilarious! You can listen to him on the internet. His show is from 11PM-Midnight on Saturday (EST).

adam spencer and will anderson on the triple j breakfast show

they are actually professional stand up comedians so they are actually funny instead of annoying

they are the funniest people around

I absolutely hate 99.97% of all radio "personalities". I despise morning shows and comedy teams which are never funny. I'd really rather they shut up and play some music.

I do like an old guy named Larry Carr on 91.3 WVUD, the local college station. He's the station engineer, and he fills in any time one of the jocks can't make it. They can't start and stop broadcasting more than once a day by FCC regualtion, so if they have to go off-air they can't start back up until midnight the next day.

So he fills in for all manner of different shows, and does these long rambling monologues while he's picking what to play. Plus he rarely knows anything about what he's playing except the basic format of that particular time slot, so he tends to pick by the album art and the song titles alone. This makes for some interesting stuff making it onto the air, believe me.

Guy named Micky has a night show on the local Baltimore station 98 Rock (97.9 FM). Usually pretty funny.

Great job sticking with the topic you ditz! 👍

I like Howard Stern. I really don't pay attention to any others.

Bradford How (former VJ for MuchMusic) He did a stint with our local Q94FM last week. Nice change.

Though The No Name Sci-Fi Show is an online radio show, it has some funny guys in there. 👍 And it's anime-friendly too. ;)
There's hardly any structure to the show itself which demonstrates how funny the hosts are that it's still able to run.

I used to listen to Opie and Anthony a lot, but I don't know when or if they're ever on anymore. I listen to Howard Stern whenever I'm up that early in the morning. Otherwise, I don't really pay attention to the DJ. I just change the channel if they're not playing music.

My uncle Brian Smith is on NPR.

There are a lot of jackass personalities out there, but Micky (and Ameilia) is a night show, so its less prank calls and stuff and more controversial often stupid viewpoints. Plus, the guy was a comedian, so it's usually quite funny.
