Agree , best replica of it in any game , Forza's 'Ring doesn't come close . (Yes i'm a GT fanboy :D )
Nurb on GT6 is superb, try driving a clean lap in a Nissan GT-Rat midnight with no driving line, it's quite difficult

Monument in memory of Freddy Charlier at SPA

It was kind of hard. Between the Nurburgring and Spa, I had to go with Spa. I LOVE driving both but Spa is just ... this will sound odd ... relaxing. It's technical and challenging but shorter. Less distance to make a mistake. Nurburgring is just 7 minutes of white knuckling and wide eyes. I can't tell you how many times I have ripped off a quick clean lap only to botch the whole thing on last few turns before the straight. FRUSTRATING. But when you stick a GOOOOOOD lap, it's like that last drop of piss sending shivers up your spine (sorry, went too far). Spa gets me on the last two turns sometimes but at least it was only a couple of minutes (depending on the car of course).

Problem I have with Spa is it is Modern. It is a nice enough track, but compared to the old track...
Ah, the old track...
Burnenville alone a super high speed sweeper, on a narrow public road, with run off being a cluster of hard hitting houses stone walls and barns or maybe a sheer drop of 15 feet. No nice friendly circuit, no positive Camber - no kerbstones you can monster over to cut the corner down. Just threading a bumpy needle for half a mile or so at top speed...
Then you had the Masta Kink - Downhill almost full speed unsighted chicane. To go fast you had to hug the apex, guarded by a few straw bails and corner posts. Total commitment.

Pouhon, Fagnes... Better than most Tilke-o-tronic tracks

But as Gerard Butler said in the Film 300 - "THIS IS SPA..."

Sorry about that rant. I'll put my rose tinted monocle away now. But Modern Spa is so slow

I really wanted to pick Le Mans. I don't believe PD did an accurate job of recreating the track to what the actual environment was like in 2013. Forza did excellent though. Hopefully, with the FIA certification, they can make it look better... I have to say Nurburgring is the best due to the amount of detail in the track. Spa is a close second.

Knowing that beasts like Spa or the ring would get all the attention i voted motegi, i found that the track itself is a pretty combination of turns, and elevation changes are hard to notice, ingame it is one of the least used tracks, heck it does even have a full night day circle with weather change. maybe Laguna seca as a solid 2nd place because of nostalgia, but i' d really like to see it updated. Oh and don' t forget tsukuba. Who remembers the special wet events on this one back in gt4? Awesome.

I am not sure why so many people hate on Tsukuba, it's a fine track for lower powered sports/racing cars 👍
It is a fine track but GT has made me hate it. Those long endurance races in GT4 and 5 where just way to much even the shorter one would put me to sleep so boring driving round and round and round that short little track for hours in a single race.

I agree with the poll that the Nurburgring is the best track, but it's not my favorite. I had a really hard time picking between Le Mans and Daytona, but because Daytona wasn't split between oval and road course (oval is boring). I picked Le Mans. Go Nissan! :sly:

For me it will always be Nürburgring Nordschleife.

I like all real race tracks and one that I can't get enough of it but in rFactor 2 is Sebring (by Virtua LM). Hope to see that one in Gran Turismo one day.
Also add Brno, Imola, Mid Ohio, Road America, Valencia Ricardo Tormo and a lot more that need to be in GT.

My favourite real-world track is actually the Laguna Seca. However, due to the horribly dated version in GT6, I chose my second favourite - the Nurburging. Though I prefer the 24hr layout more than the Nordschleife.

Brands Hatch. I grew up within earshot of it, ran around it, drove round it before I had my licence, watched every kind of racing go round it. love the place, gave me goosebumps when it was announced for GT6

Murray Walker: "Why the authorities spend millions of pounds trying to turn Silverstone into a great circuit when we have one already in Brands Hatch is a mystery to me."

Bathurst 2nd, the combination of corners across the mountain is near perfect and combined with the epic straights, its no wonder the Bathurst 12 hr races are some of the best I can ever remember seeing.

In my mind, I have to say the Nurburgring Nordschleife. For me personally, the best test of driving skill in Gran Turismo, is taking on the Nordschleife at night, in the rain, using the in-car view and having the driving line turned off.

Being an Aussie, I have to mention a sentimental favorite in Mount Panorama, Bathurst.

No surprise that Nurburgring is the majority favorite. I am a little surprised at Spa being number 2 as there are a few tracks in the game I prefer over that one. I think Mount Panorama, Bathurst would be my second choice.

Nürburgring because i drive it IRL, it's so friggin fast, and you have to stay concentrated for 78 corners, a track that separates the boys from the men.
