Me? SUMMER PLEASE!

Like Joey, I live in Michigan, but being on the west side of the State, we get far more snow thanks in part to the lovely thing called "Lake Effect" snow. Its gets cold here during the winter, which pretty much lasts from Halloween to Easter. Six months of wet, cold, miserable, gray nastyness.

The summer?

I like being hot, its really as easy as that. When its 90*F, theres a mild breeze outside, and you've got nothing better to do than sit, its just perfect. Given that I'm crazy enough to vacation in Miami Beach, Florida during the middle of summer, you can get a good idea as to how much I like it. As a matter of fact, I'd love to move to Miami so I can get that summer feeling year-round.

...But, I would miss the occasional snow, a "real" fall and spring, etc. Michigan is about as good as it gets I suppose, I just wish winter didn't take up half the year...

I'm going with summer. How can you beat warm weather, girls walking around wearing next to nothing, all the events (summer ones atleast...ie. Car shows, roasts, fairs) and you can't forget...the great top down cruising weather. 👍

Autumn/Fall, definitely, with winter at a close second. The temperature's nice and comfortable, the leaves turn interesting shades of red, orange, and yellow, Oktoberfest comes and goes all too quickly, I get to celebrate my birthday, and snow is just a few months away. :)

You're crazy:crazy:.

I can think of much better places climate wise. Portland/Seattle/Vancouver are probably the cities in the country for weather, with Anchorage 4th if you like snow.

+1 to that. Summer all the way. On LI it may be unbearably humid and the green flies are pretty bad sometimes, it reaches perfection at aroun 4:30-5:00.... Its getting cooler, the sun is starting to fall, and its just... nice. Very very nice.

I'd have to say summer, but only barely.

I'll explain.

I love certain aspects of winter (Snowsports, mainly. I'm big into skiing), but I often work outside and the rain, wind, and cold on a daily basis get to me.

This just doesn't happen in the summer, so I'd have to go for that.

i would have to say spring. For one, my baseball season starts. In Boyertown, Pennsylvania, baseball is life. I also like the warm weather, not too hot, not too cold. Its just right. I don't like winter because i like to wear shorts and baseball is over:(. Summer is second because baseball season is still going, NO SCHOOL, and the weather really nice.

Winter. My allergies end here, the season is more sensual and poetic than others, and winter romances are part of it.

Oh yeah, and outdoor hockey can start!

But: the Sun's altering state and globall warming are putting an end to it all...

noob616: As am I!

I love winter. Not only is it the month where I can stay inside for a reason, but I love the cold. I can tolerate freezing temperatures just fine. In fact, I prefer them.

Summer FTW. Winter sucks a mean one. Hitting the negatives in december-february. Screw that. At least it's not as bad a Michigan/great lakes country. I'd rather be getting a tan & driving with the windows down, than bundled up & still freezing--awake long before I have to be, only to scrape my windows and warm the car up, to drive to work in a black-iced nightmare while it's still dark outside. Suntan > biting, bitter winter cold.

I friggen hate winter, and I hate it even more, because I can't get away from it.

Winter FTW? - i can only guess that those who have voted for winter don't have to get up early, in the dark, when it's freezing cold, spend 15 minutes defrosting their car before struggling to drive to work because the change in weather has turned every other road user into a driving numpty. You then spend what few daylight hours you have shacked up in an office before struggling to get home again in the dark - repeating this for 5 days out of 7 for the next 5 or 6 months :grumpy:

Spring is the best - furthest point away from winter!
Amen, except the summer would be my favorite. I never even use the A/C in my car. Hot = Nice 👍

Nope, Winter FTW! 👍

Get up, maybe get rained on a bit, "before struggling to drive to work because the change in weather has turned every other road user into a driving numpty." and folks in Cali can't cope with rain! :scared:
Get off work on Friday, drive 3 hours into mountains, spend 2 days not absolutely cold 'cos winters just aren't like that here, but have some pretty excellent snowboarding conditions, and drive 3 hours home again to 55F partly sunny / partly rainy weather which isn't great but is still better than getting frozen solid every day!!. Rinse. Repeat!
It only sucks if there's snow-chain controls before you get to Tahoe, which means spending an hour at 30mph with snowchains on, which'll rattle your fillings loose! :irked:

Spring, no question. The days get longer, the temperature gets warmer, and the trees come back to life. It's a sign that it is no longer necessary to hide inside all the time, and a reminder that summer is getting near. And my birthday is in there somewhere, too :D.

I like winter but we're not going to have a winter this year, I tihnk. It's way too warm for this time of year.

It has been colder than last year for the previous 2 months :)
(or wasn't it? )

I can't remember, Bert. My short term memory is completely messed up (side effect of the meds).
