And then the other car tucks in behind you and just before the braking point for Stowe, he pulls out and out-brakes you into Stowe, and then you have to pass him again. :p
That's why you stick to the right of the road after coming out of the corner and make them go the long way 'round;)

First turn..Daytona road course 👍 going from high speed to a tight left turn within a couple of seconds!! :)
That corner will be the death of me... Have a 4 hour enduro there the 24th and I gotta master it or else... Gulp... Be slow.

The hairpin bend after the straight with the tunnel. (turn 9) :sly:

But then that gives the other guy the line going into Vale, the only way you can fight back is to get him coming out and having the line into Club.

Isn't motorsport just awesome? Like chess, but noisier.

I see a lot of people naming corners at the Daytona road course. This is one of my favorite tracks in the game and real life. I think the high speed banks add a lot of character to a track and I wish more permanent circuits would incorporate them! Only bummer in Gran Turismo is that they actually did a pretty poor job with this track. The infield is empty, wish they would fill it with campers. They don't have the famous infield ferris wheel, depriving us of some great photo ops. They got the course layout wrong too and it always disappoints me. Turn 1 coming off of the tri oval is an awesome corner, but what is with the wall PD put? It jarts out into the track when there shouldn't even be a wall there in the first place. It is suppose to be open runoff in that corner and the track would be such a better experience if it was. I know people have mentioned it as a fun corner, but PD absolutely whiffed on the bus stop on the back stretch. They made the same mistake with the wall that they made on the front stretch. Most importantly, we are running the WRONG BUS STOP. The one we run was used by sports cars back in the late 90's and in the last decade it was only used by motorcycles. Sports cars in modern times run the short bus stop, which we could be running in the game but it is blocked by the stupid wall PD added. In fact, the bus stop PD has us running doesn't even exsist anymore after Daytona was repaved 2 years ago. I'm so glad they added time change, but I hate that they still have us running the wrong track :(

Just like for a 2 lap race at Sarthe you want to be behind the other guy going into Tetre Rouge on lap one, draft past into 1st chican, continue passing each other on the major straights, until your behind on the straight leading to the Porsche Curves on lap 2, draft past, and win:dopey:

Lol, going into Porsche, that's where I always take away the inside line. I'm yet to face anyone who has the balls to try the outside without running wide!

There is so many, it's hard to pick a favorite. If I had to though, for now it's Brock's skyline at Bathurst. That whole section on top of the mountain in a GT3 car is so amazing. The scenery isn't bad either!

I'm quite early in the game, but favourite corner so far is the last corner at Willow Springs, Big Willow course. It's a fast corner which tightens and at first I ran off every time. I've had a lot of fun driving in the muscle car race at willow. On poor tyres and in a sloppy handling muscle car the new physics allow you to be teetering on the edge of disaster every time you round that bend!

It'd have to be the whole 'section' from 7 to 9 at 'Big Willow'

It's like it was just meant for track-day Honda's, I can always take it flat-out to T.9 in my CTR on Sport-Softs, breathe the throttle a lil', tuck-in - 'apex' - then WOT all the way down the straight :D

It's hard to pick just one, cause we all have at least a few of those most favourite ones. But the Fuchsröhre always fascinated me.

That is literally the best piece of asphalt to drive on with a REEEEEAAALLLLY bouncy car and just go balls to the wall.

Funny that I read this. Personal opinion I will leave to you but I remember an interview with Alan McNish and him saying versus LeMans and this, what is your opinion.... "Meh.."

Thanks Kurei for the map - by the last corner of Willow I meant turn 7 to 9, but rather than a car or tyre that enables me to go flat out round the corner, I prefer a car that's wobbling and rocking on the edge of disaster - I'm loving the improved FFB from GT6 for my wheel (T500).

Yeah, a single corner is tricky to choose. But for me it would have to be the 2nd Lesmo at Monza - brake early, point the nose and carry so much speed across the apex gaining time all the way to the Ascari chicane.

The Degners at Suzuka are a close second:tup:

Indianapolis on La Sarthe.

I tend to be a precise driver, but there I like to throw the car into those two corners like an idiot.
