That was the one challenge where they attempted to cross the English Channel. Good one. 👍




I forgot to mention, one of the segments that really got me into the show was when Clarkson drove the Peel P50 around the BBC building.

"Top speed rather depends how big you are, and um, actually how much you had for breakfast."

I was laughing for a good 5 or so minutes.
 
The specials as are good, but fav normal ep I think the reliant robin. Watching it flip especially in the first 10 seconds was so funny.
 
There were two car/boat challenges - the first one was 2 miles

The second one was across the channel. The fact that they managed to get across the busiest shipping lane in the world just beggars belief
 
Vietnam Special and the Reliant Robin episode many have already named... I can't remember an episode where I laughed so hard. That first rollover had me in stitches for about 5 minutes, even though you sort of knew something like that was going to happen.
 
My two favorites are when they tested the best car from GM and the best american made truck.
 
Definetly has to be the first American one, almost being eaten by alligators, rednecks throwing stones at them and Jeremy getting a cow on his roof were all just so funny.

I Like The Vietnam, Botswana and The USA road trip (where they get chased by hillbillys lol)
 
For a funny episode: the Botswana special. Watching Hammond fall for "Oliver" and the way the other two got on his case about it was hilarious.

For a more serious episode: The Polar Special. That was even frightening at times.
 
Holy crap, just watching old TG 1993 ep 2, JC starts talking about something truly "awesome" in the spirit of the new TG, and then Pink Floyd "Welcome to the Machine" starts playing. What do we see? Yes, the truly monstrous Aston Martin (V8) Vantage. Such a beautiful beastly machine, and with more than enough power to back the image up.
 
Man! Where to start! I liked the budget police car one with James' ice cream truck siren. I love all though.

+and try to get their cars docked. :) And that's were the Titan fell when Jeremey couldn't get the engine to start. Very funny way to end the show.

Not many cars can do something like that. Wouldn't be a bad idea if that car was running on propane like some forklifts are nowadays.

That's another favorite of mine. Can you imagine what it would have been like to be pulled over by Captain Slow with the theme from Monty Python playing on his siren? I thought that was what I heard playing during that segment.

I also like the Japanese GT-R vs. Shinkansen/Bus challenge race and the Vintage Train/Car/Motorbike race.
 
I have always liked the italian midengined 70s sportscars for under 10k. When Hamster pushes the Merak's light down and the other one goes up, that moment has me in stitches every time I watch it.

Series 10, episode 9. It's also worth mentioning that Clarkson literally had tears in his eyes after he crossed the finish line. :lol:

The Most line that had me in stitches was that FWD challenge and when olivier Panis passed Hammond for the upteenth Time he said 'Oh There is that Oliver Penis Man again' :lol:
