What is your favourite car to drive using a force feedback wheel and why?

You can also include a tune that you like that accentuates the feel in the wheel, or a track that shows the cars handling characteristics best. Although the game physics are what give a lot of this feel, I'm not asking which car has the best physics, but what feels fun to drive.

I thought of this question while driving the Shelby GT500 15th Anniversary Edition on the Daytona Road Course. I really like the feedback this car gives, from acceleration, cornering to braking. I feel like this car is alive and has soul. Another of my favourites is the Ford GT '06 at Trial Mountain.

hi, i've found (only) 15 "cool to drive"-cars so far ...
all are included in our (rather demanding) time trials

for all details, see "cars"-link on <http://realrace.ddns.net>

feel free to join :) r.

Honda S2K: It drives like a dream!
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG: a challenging car but an absolute very fast dream when controlled properly. Also a very good drifter!

Turbo 16 is the funniest to drive and it can be fast too. Just find the seasonal thread with all the tunes and find out what you like! I mean when I'm doing online racing in this one my living room is full of hands and I'm step dancing on the pedals, especially driving on nurburgring

Jaguar XJ13 but I can only speak for GT5.

I'm broke...all the time. Thanks Kaz...

KTM X-Bow Street stock, Comfort Soft tyres, all assists off, FFB set to 10 using my G25, on The Ring 24 Hour.

Sheer bliss... :D

Parcells would go with just about any car driven on the dirt tracks. The counter steering you have to do to be quick in dirt is relentless, a nice workout and simply a blast with a quality wheel.

Honda Weider HSV-010, or the Raybrig variant. No tunes required, just jump in an drive.

The Caterham is bundles of fun too.

There are far to many to list but a few of the ones I like best are the S2000 LM, the RX7 LM and the Imprezza GT300

I also love the Caterham

If you want a visceral, engaging drive, I recommend the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing on CS tires at Matterhorn Rotenboden.. With the car around 420-450PP it feels very sporty and responsive (even with ABS-0).

I had shared a setup in my Tunes section under my profile, but I deleted it because it was pre-1.09.

Set with springs set to 8.00/7.00, damper compression 3/5 and extension 4/4, roll bars 3/3. You can leave the wheel alignment default or set your own preference for personal comfort or technique.

I run camber at 0.6/0.8 and toe at -0.03/0.50.

A small suggestion: Perhaps it would be worth stating which wheel posters are using and what, specifically, they like about the feedback on the car mentioned as opposed to other cars........ just an idea.

Personally I'll have to think quite a bit on this one.......

Music wise I liked the GT2 collection and from my own collection ZZ-Top, Bowie, The Planets but mostly just the sound of the car so I can concentrate on gear changes (I'll make no further comments as we've got an audio thread)

Yellow bird - stock on Nordschleife. Can't beat the felling:)

Equiped with CS or CM tires , is even more fun /deadly/ than with std. SH.

Drivers like us are a rare breed. So many people even on the PC sim racing community are after instant gratification. Never willing to challenge themselves. That's why GT cars are somehow the most popular.

I salute you sir!

The Ktm x bow is my favorite. I use to have a hard time driving this car around a track but now I think this car is fun. It's similar to a real life go kart but with 30x the power.

rx7 fd on CH, or the stock e63, or the f40 on CS if you really feel like driving something that wants you dead.
I have a thing for cars that love to smoke up the wheels unless you drive them with the utmost care and respect.
g27 FF 10

I had a few runs with the Yellowbird on CS tyres, ABS/TC off around the Nordschleife. I have to admit it's a fun combo :)
