I don't even know the word, and then a poster pointed out that it was a Need For Speed word.
So, to hide the fact that I don't know what the word meant, I said that I wasn't a Need For Speed player, therefore did not know the word.

I don't have a clue about NFS either, never played it, never watched it, never seen an advert, a poster, a game cover, nothing - I don't even know anyone who's got a copy.

I got the term from ''Best Motoring''.

Well, you could have quite easily just said ''What's grip driving?'', the way you and the other guy phrased your wording suggested that I was associated with NFS, which, for a die hard Gran Turismo enthusiast who actively does his best to avoid NFS, is quite insulting to say the least.

I don't usually go online, but when I do, it's because I'm very bored.
And then when I do play online, I spin because the car feels weird and then I get depressed...

i love online. its what i spend the majority of the game on.

Nice thread :) even if I already have 11 milions cr. I've found interesting the Euro Championship with a stock TVR Tamora and soft sport tyres, all aids off except abs 1, it was a nice run. Poliphony cup @ Trial Mountain with my tuned S2000 against a Ford GT was great.
When I'm not driving for money and I'm not online I like rally with my Impreza RM, I reduce the forcefeedback to 1 and I turn all the suspensions values to softer settings great run too, and for sure no hud :D Also London reverse with high end cars like a Ford GT LM or a tuned 458Italia is something special.

I enjoy driving the cars .. DTM 1 lap race at the Nurburgring, great cars, great circuit 99000.

The physics online are different from the one offline.
I agree with the AI being brain dead 👍
They ram into you and keep on accelerating :nervous:
They're just incredibly slow.

Happens especially in the NASCAR races...
They clip you when your going around Daytona.
I passed the Daytona race by letting them overtake me and not get in there way :lol:

yeh and online = no limits.
ive never seen the AI having drag races down the top gear test track

When the AI get behind you, they either ram you, brake, lift off.
They hardly ever go side by side and attempt an overtake.
