I searched this up and sadly found nothing.

I say standard cars are still good, and why not say what we all think is the best standard car

NOTE

THIS IS NOT A THREAD ON HOW WELL MODELED THE CAR IS
Please do not judge a car on how pixelated it is
Please judge your car on how much fun it is to drive, or it you just generally like it

Anyway, to start off. The Jaguar XFR is the greatest standard for me, it drives superbly, good acceleration, sounds good, and is easy to drift and that makes it extremely fun

I would say that the motul civic race car, the lupo gti cup, the karmann ghia 68, the tommy kaira zzII so far, are the best std cars that I drove till now. The 270 z fairlady too, amazing car. If could, totally offtopic, just add a premium, I would say the 70' dogde challenger. I aquire of this weekend. Full tuned and went racing... Best car that I drove until now in gt5. I do want to make a race mod in it.

My favourites are the MG F and the MG TF160. They handle wonderfully when stock and the engine is nice and torquey. I hope PD makes a Premium version. It's such a shame that PD didn't include an MG ZS or ZT, those are also lovely cars. I am of course biased, because I love British cars, but the MG's really are good cars, I'd recommend driving them at least once in the game. 👍
 
Lancia Stratos (both, the rally car and road version) RUF Yellowbird, RUF BTR, BMW 2002 Turbo, Merc 190e cossie, AE86 SS version just to name a few. All of these cars are at their best unfettled with, by which I mean they are stock.
 
Aaahhh, the Stratos, I agree there.

And I almost forgot before, the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca, because it's my favourite race car ever created
 
Dome ZERO Concept :p, Standard tune on sports softs it handles like a dream and its pretty brisk too and in a weird way kind of good looking
 
I'm a sucker, so the Pagani Zonda 12S 7.3 in metalic orange, looks, and sounds just awesome, but yet a handful on the Nurburgring.
 
Nismo fairlady z tune, all the BMW m3 s, autobacs garaya and the lotus Europa. Then you must also consider the Alpines and all the muscle cars from the 60s and 70s.

And here I thought nobody would mention my favorite. You're close, but not quite there, mine's the '04 Pontiac GTO, mainly because I own an '05 in real life. You're right though, it's tough to beat for drifting ease.
