What happens to be you favourite tire manufacturer? The choices are of the ten largest in the world, if your isn't there, pick other and share.

By personal experience, Dunlop. However I'd be switching to Hankooks if they came in the size I want.

I really like dunlops but I've heard nothing but good things about michelins, which is why my next set will probably be one of those, which is why I chose them in the poll. Really like the dunlops, though, the Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec I had on the car were great, a tad noisy, but extremely grippy. The car currently has some bridgestone potenza re760 sport which are very comfortable but slightly lack in grip. I'm looking to get some michelin PSS for the next set of tires

I don't really have a favourite tire manufacturer, but I do like specific tires.

Hankook iPike W409 and Firestone Winterforce are great budget winter tires.
I prefer the Toyo RA-1 over the Toyo R888 in R-compound flavor... but I also liked the Nitto NT-01 and Hankook Z211 (not made anymore).
BFGoodrich g-Force Sport is a nice summer tire.

Remember kids... All season tires suck in all seasons.

Pirelli P (zero) Nero.

Brilliant rubber.

But rubbers differ from car to car and drivers.

A friend has the Eagle F1 asym. and loves them on the 3er Bmw, I hated them on my Audi 4*4

I have Continental summer tires and GoodYear winter tires, and both do their respective jobs well enough, so I'll vote Continental because I like summer more than winter. 👍

Probably ones that have been made cheaply in China, then purchased by you at a place like Wal-Mart.

I've been driving around with Yokohama the last few years, first S-drive, now Advan Sport. Can't complain about it.

Michelin has been the best in my experience, they are pricey but they are the worth it in my opinion. I have had decent luck with Continental too, especially the DW's. The Hankook iPikes I had were pretty sound winter tires as well.

I think Pirellis are way overpriced and suck, if I ever buy a car where they come standard I will swap them. Goodyears are awful too, I've made the mistake of trying them twice on a vehicle and regretted it. I refuse to use Dunlops either, the DZ101's I had on the Cooper were probably some of the worse tires I have ever owned.

My next set of tires will be Michelin's for sure, and if I can get a set of Super Sports to fit I'll go with them. I think they are some of the best tires out there right now. The Conti DW's are up there too.

I'm running Dunlop SportMaxx TTs currently, although I can't compare them to anything as they are a completely different size and profile to anything I've ran on the car due to the new rims.

They aren't too noisy, I get good turn in response from them, and they have performed well in the wet too. Can't complain.

I can pretty much only say Toyo in this case. The Honda's still got the same Nankang whatever-the-heck-they're-called's on it since I bought it and they're "adequate", and the Skyline had some random brand called Diamondback because they were the cheapest tyres that actually fitted it. The only sort of high-performance tyre I've had experience with is Toyo Proxes 4s on the ol' WRX.

I don't have a favorite tire maker, but I absolutely refuse to buy any tire that is made in China or made specifically for Walmart.

Dunlop at the moment. You don't have Kumho up there, shrug.

Pirelli is very much over priced and over hyped, at least in my experience.

Cheap and cheerful Kumho tyres for me - I do miss the Continentals I originally had come with my Swift but they were fairly worn from the beginning. The Kumhos don't seem too much different and so I'm happy with them seeing as they are far cheaper.
Now I'm changing jobs so I'm doing less commuting (30-mile motorway journey before), I might have a play with some Michelins or something and see what difference they make.

As I did mostly motorway driving and short errand trips, I never really needed much from the tyres other than durability.
