Yeah, it's not the ball bearing version so it doesn't make full boost until about 5-6k on a street-ported 13b. If you were to bridge-port the engine, boost would come on faster. A bridge-port is not recommended for street use though.

The guy who own's the car said he just keep's it in the upper rpm's, and even though he only run's 12psi on the street, it still beat's faster spooling T04E's and T04S's with no problem.

Any chance of you telling me what song is playing during this video...... and may I add that this video is done freaking awesomely if that qualify's as a word..... if not...... now it does.

why would it lag on a rotary?
FD's run as big as t76 w/ a haltech and or a power fc putting down up to 500 whp reliably

Because the 13b is only a 1.3 liter, and the T51R is a HUGE turbo, compressor and turbine wise.

It all depend's on the type of port work that's done to the engine.

I saw that on dsmtalk. Sweet, sweet video. I haven't seen a tach move as fast as that one does on the FD when he hits about 5.5k. Wooooo, if only I could live with a rotary. Sounds sweet as anything too.
