Wasn't aware of the new 900 pp tace at Spa .
Needed to change car in order to win and try it 3 times .
I abord the first, change car and win the other two , no questions allowed about CRB🤣
Most profitable race i guess is the Honda at Laguna if you're push the little " bitch " to gain time .

I've mentioned before hom much i hate La Croissant track but this time i try it much more than i expected since the GTR of the race aren't crazy pushed .
So i try it few times with different cars mostly stock on SS tyres .
You don't need a 700pp car to win this and it's an opportunity to get a bit more familiar with my top list hateful track .
Not that i will ever enjoy a race here but still i can memorize some turns here cause we see that bloody track very often .

Unfortunately i couldn't use Avantime at village reverse to see the difference from the common layout so i pick my Express EVO to clear it and forget to mess with Croissant .

4 CRB collected and as a shy old fart I'll stay out of trouble from SPA , i also don't have a raincoat 😂

Gave the Alsace race a few more tries with different cars, stock R32 will win it so I assume anything around 520ish PP should be good. On hard you want to be running 2:17, there does seem to be one grid that's about 5 seconds faster than the others though. Also ran Spa again and finally got heavy rain on lap 6, before that was running 2:02-2:03 in the Audi, I have 34 kg of ballast in to match the Super GT cars but stock otherwise on RM. Same race as usual from the AI, even if they run fast laps they can't get to lap 5 on fuel so they're nothing to worry about. Was a lot of fun driving on a very wet track, quite funny as the first lap it rained hard every time I caught a car up it spun.

Done and dusted with the WTC900. Took the Toyota GR out. Was slowly working my way up to first but those AI up top are crazy fast. Even v. my Gr.1? Impossible in real life. Anyway, rain was on the radar and I had to go in anyway for fuel and tires at the end of lap 6. Went for IM's and about a few minutes after I pulled out in 7th, the heavens poured. AI cars either went in for tires or like the two stupid Nissans that were originally in 1st and second, they went in just for fuel and stayed out on their worn RH's. Go figure. Won the race by over 30 seconds. I think that's it for me for this one. lol

Looks like red flag conditions....

A sub 2-minute Group 2 car. All because of DRS.

Mid-rpm turbo was equipped.

EDIT:

Update:

IMG_20250914_214121.webp

2nd try, equipped with the High-RPM turbo. Faster overall times, but worse fuel consumption. Used Fuel Map 3 similar to the first run. But for this one, I had to short shift beginning Lap 4, until I pit in at Lap 5. For the out lap at Lap 6, short shifting resumes until Lap 7 in which I went all out from that point onwards.

DRS is used at the following areas:

- exit of La Source, deactivating it momentarily at Eau Rouge and resume usage at the Kemmel Straight.

- after Les Combes

- exit of Bruxelles

- after gliding through Pouhon

- Blanchimont until hard on the brakes approaching Bus Stop.

- Main straight.

For both runs, I used Medium tires, then swapped on fresh similar ones in the pit stop.

I started with doing the Sunday Cup Classic race at Monza with a Honda Civic (EG) and won quite easily. So now I plan to do the two races I haven't attempted yet - the Nissan GT-R Cup @ St. Croix and the newly-added WTC 900 @ Spa-Francorchamps. I respectively plan to use my trusty Nissan GT-R Nismo '17 that's received a lot of tuning - though it's got the stock engine and no widebody - and possibly a Lexus RC F GT500. I think I had typically used a Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM for other rounds of the WTC 900 but I thought I'd try something else, especially since I think the six GT500 cars (plus the Audi) have higher downforce than the GT1/LMGTP racers within Gr.2, making them better for the curves of Spa-Francorchamps as far as I can tell. (Whereas the GT1/LMGTP racers seem better than those seven at say, both layouts of Le Mans, due to the Mulsanne straight.)

So I did the WC over 2 nights. I started with WTC 900 but my wife was in the room with me and even though she was doing Sudoku and needed to concentrate wanted to talk. So I ended trying 3 different cars and after the 3rd car I quit that race because of the distraction  . So I decided to start with the easy races. I wanted to smash the race I grabbed a Valkyrie and took it Monza. ( I actually like this car for this track)

Then I took a souped up N-One to Laguna Seca. Fun race at a fun track

Next I took a stock Z tune to Alsace I forgot to take pic so I went and put it in a scape

On the next day I was up front so I didn't need to talk anyone  so I went

and knocked out Spa with the Bugatti VGT Gr.1. I was able to do 1 stop and get a splash of fuel because it didn't rain and win the race. I didn't get the CRB because I ran into the back of car and for good measure it got back in front and went the same way I did so I hit twice a little bit harder just to make sure I lose the CRB.
I did the St.Croix race last with my other Z tune in Midnight Purple III. That was a slog of a race and had to force myself to finish the race

I do all of my races on easy as I just want to relax and drive

So here's another stock challenge for the Japanese Clubman Cup 550 at Alsace - with another car a good bit below the suggested PP level.
It's the Subaru Impreza 22B-STi '98, available at the UCD right now. The stock version comes with 513,82 PP - it's a super fun drive on that winding track and the challenge is of course to win the race with CRB.
This is what I could do :

Another cool race I had yesterday took place at the infamous Circuit de Sainte Croix A.
Took out my old and butt-ugly ( it's gotta be that way !!! ) engine-swapped Skyline '70 which is set up for the "Historic Sports Car Masters" : 219 kW / 1.028 kg / SS tires / 578,25 PP ... There's no time for getting croissants at a drive-through underway but it's well possible to win the race with CRB. Don't miss this if you have the opportunity.

All races done on hard difficulty.

Sunday Cup Classic/Monza
Used a BX @350PP. Took P1 at the end of lap 1. Easy win.

Japanese Clubman Cup/Alsace
As I mentioned here before I'm just not able to win this race with a regular car. No idea why, guess the track just doesn't suit me.
So I took my swapped Jimny and packed 170kg of ballast into it to bring it down to 550PP. Bye bye Afeela😄
1000024493.webp

N-One Special Event/Laguna Seca
I used my 400PP tune but gave it SH tyres, resulting in 419PP. More than enough, clear win.
1000024497.webp

GT-R Cup/Sainte Croix
For this I used my swapped KPGC10 @643PP. This car is really fun to drive! Unfortunately I couldn't win, finished P2, two seconds behind. But given that I competed with a car from 1970 against a bunch of R35s, that's fine for me.
1000024495.webp

WTC900/Spa
I used what I always use for those races, my trusty Mazda LM55. One of the few really good VGTs, it just never disappoints me!
RH tyres, FM6 nonstop, dry race. Won by 14 seconds.

Maybe post a video of your driving and we can help point out anything obvious but with your attitude I couldn’t care really
My attitude at least isn't helped by Mr. Three Seconds Slower lecturing me about lap times and bragging how easily you've won the races with your fastest laps still being slower than what the AI was doing in my first case, and two to three seconds slower than mine were. Everyone else got the point in my post about wildly differing lap times still giving the same gap, it's just the rubberbanding in place - you were slower than me so your AI was slower too. That's why my extreme hypermiling test with the 2'07 laps worked just as well because it adapts to your pace, and that sucks pretty hard from a gaming point of view because it doesn't really reward being fast or punish being slow.

Well, this probably tells enough of my driving. And it was finally a clean win but bloody hell that early race traffic was terrible and lapping half the field in the end was even worse trying to avoid all the shenanigans. I may try another run with no thoughts given to the CRB to see how fast it really can be done, probably a good ten seconds off the total time.

I couldn't get anywhere near the podium in the Honda N-ONE race at Laguna with a completely stock car so I tried some different tires till I found a set that could do it.

Sports Medium tires will get you to the podium but winning with a CRB will demand you push the car near its limit. Challenging but very fun car to drive with these tires.

My new WTC 900 weapon. Very efficient with the high rev turbo. Was very close to the fastest lap time but somehow Sternberg put down a faster lap despite ending way back. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Difficulty.
Made a retro livery for it too. Good night.
