Now, if PD would let us create an online lobby and populate it with Ai to race against.........

........it wouldn't be much of a rest because they AI is frankly, pretty horrible. They don't race you. They're nothing but mobile chicanes. Until PD get the AI up to an acceptable standard, the offline version of the game is almost pointless.

Do you or anyone else know if you use this will it inform the other person that they have a message before they go back to GTLife? I would rather send them a message via XMB so it flashes on their screen, unless they have that turned off.

Not during a race, no. The only notification is in GT Life just like when you receive a gift car.

remote racing = waste of an option

remote racing = awesome way to lvl b-spec and earn easy money by doing zero work.

if they were trying to give you a taste of the different series then the TOCA series handled it way better. You actually had RULES that were relevant to each series.

Features I never use? Just a lot of the newer tracks that were put in for eye candy and nothing more. Why was development time wasted on London, Madrid, and Eiger over getting Spa, Montreal, or Road America?
