I have a valid question: How often do you see a driver's face in a racing game, period? Obviously excluding arcade racing games where they have a plot and stuff.
I know in other games, they display the driver's name as John Doe or Jane Doe instead of J.Doe so then you could tell if the driver is male or female.
But what if PD were to completely remove driver models? That would free up space for them to add better features than a stationary model that spins around and can be used in pictures with your car. That would also end dumb controversies like calling a game or company sexist. The reason why the names are presented as J.Doe is so that you imagine what the driver's gender is. (Also there isn't space on screen for longer names, but you know what I mean.)
EDIT: How are we supposed to know if B-Spec will be in GT6 either? PD has barely released ANY information yet about GT6. If there is one good thing PD can actually do, it is keeping secrets.
