Why is this still being asked? 3 teams so far have confirmed an entry next year. In fact, just today SMP racing/ BR Engineering announced they're revealing the car at Bahrain!

Dailysportscar saying Alonso is there as an invited guest at Bahrain this weekend. Will be interesting to see where he goes and what he does pertaining to the WEC race going on.

I never said that they don’t count it as a win, but to say that the level of competition you beat for a win means nothing is ridiculous.

The Le Mans win that contributed to Graham Hill's Triple Crown was against a car from his own team, one works Alfa and a Siffert privateer entry. The win is the win, that's all history records. His team's third car DNFed as did the the other Alfa works car and two privateer Porsche runners. Le Mans wins aren't really about 24 hours of a huge pack of big marque cars jostling for a win and they never really have been.
