I would love to see Niki Lauda's and Clay Regazzoni's legendary Ferrari 312T from 1975 added to Gran Turismo to finally represent the mid-1970s open-wheel racing era.
Even if licensing multiple cars from this period is difficult, adding just the 312T would be a massive win for the community. Thanks to GT7’s powerful Livery Editor, players could easily use this car's iconic 1970s body shape as a canvas to recreate other legendary cars from the 1972–1975 era, such as the McLaren M23, Lotus 72E, or Brabham BT44. Even though they (312T, M23, 73E etc.) dont have the exact same chassis, they still would look exactly like they do in the real world.
Having this car alongside the F1500T-A, F3500-B, McLaren mp4/4 and Honda RA272 would complete the evolution of historic formula cars in the game, providing an incredible naturally-aspirated sound design and an unmatched raw driving experience in
VR2.
