My first video of Nurburgring Nordschleife (PB) 7:07.880 lap in a Ferrari 430 Scuderia with aero parts added and some changes to downforce etc, no other tuning. Im using a G25 with manual transmission, sports medium tyres, TC=3, ABS=1, all other assists are off.

Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching.

Nice video, good control of the car and fast pace... I reaaaally must considerate buying a steering whell... soon :D

Nice lap. :)

Here's mine with Ferrari 430 Scuderia:

Slightly different specs though: stock 430 (no aero parts or tuning), racing hard tires.
No assists besides ABS 1, grip reduction real.
Wheel: Driving Force GT.

Lap time was 7:12.304. Not a perfect one yet, but getting there maybe..

@jaycee_xr3
cheers fella. Yeah having a wheel certainly adds to the immersion of it all.

@vakie-81
nice lap yourself, I'd give the aero parts a pop as I was getting around 7:14 without and this afternoon clocked a 7:03.8xx. Don't think I'll be beating that one unless I start tuning and tbh I like the 430 as it is now, a joy to drive :D

Cheers dude, it really is a fun car to drive imo. I had another go today and removed all the instruments from the cockpit view to see how much of the ring I'd learned without visual prompts not hoping for much and managed a 7:00.002. So close to getting a sub 7min lap but no donut... Yet! :p

Oh my first post mentions using sports medium tyres. I of course mean racing medium tyres. Had a go with sports medium today and that's a totally different story.

Anyhoo just in case you're still interested in seeing the new PB lap, here be the linky

As always thanks for watching.

those yellow wheels must help as I just got a 6:57.168 :p

Same configuration as before but I did notice my BHP has gone up from 499 to 502 and I've made no changes, not even an oil change since getting a 7:00 time.

Anyone else get this, seems a bit bizarre no?
video of 6:57.168 to follow (takes ages to upload)

thanks for watching.

Also does anyone know how to fox youtube into letting you use music on vids, it always bleats on about copyright and leaves me with a muted vid :(

any help most appreciated.

The HP's go up the more miles you get on the car. After a while (around 5000 km), they start going down again, and around 10 000 km it's back down to the starting HP. Then you can do engine overhaul, and it should be back to the peak HP. Supposedly, after enough miles, even engine overhaul won't get it back up to the max HP.

You don't need an engine overhaul after 10000 km.....you need an oil change badly tho.

I didn't say you did. But at least with the X1, after 10 000 km, the engine is down to the original HP (even with oil changes after every race). If you don't do the overhaul, the HP's continue going down. After 50 000 km my X1 was down to around 1300 HP with oil change (max is 1556).

Cheers fella,

I've kind of gotten used to them now however was thinking they would look better with the Ferrari yellow but haven't gotten round to buying another car to get the paint yet, too busy enjoying the ring.
