Ok, so this is my favorite car (mainly because of the looks) and I'm having an acceleration problem with it. Whenever I'm accelerating from rest, the car just jumps to the highest RPM and smoke starts coming out of the tires and keeps making a stuttering noise till it reaches 40-50 mph, this is when I switch to 2nd gear. No problems after 2nd gear. Anything I am doing wrong that is causing the car to do this? My GTR doesn't do this, neither do my other 40 or so cars. I even tried tuning it using something I found online, the problem was still there. Please help.

Throttle control? Your GT-R doesn't do this because it has AWD.

But it didn't do this before. One day I was playing online and this randomly happened while I was drag racing. I even did an oil change and chassis maintenance.

Probably because the drag racing room had banned traction control, something you relied on previously.

Why don't you try again after turning the traction control on? Because I'm 90% sure that's the problem.

Wow, can't thank you enough. I put traction control to 10, and it worked like a charm. I just can't figure out how it got turned off in the first place. Thanks again. :)

A 700 hp car spinning the wheels when you mash the throttle is not a problem. Its normal

To rectify the situation; dont mash the throttle..

You shouldnt rely on traction control dude! you don't need it.

If you want to learn to play without TC then buy the LSD and lower the settings in there. Should cut a lot of the wheel spin for you.

Learn to play without TC, your car control will improve enormously, plus any aids apart from abs and the abomination that is SRF will be slower.

If you go in an online room with various aids off,the next time you race I think they will remain off until you turn them on again.

If you start it in 2nd (or perhaps 3rd), you can get a nice smokey burnout.

Wait, people still use traction control? In drag racing? Isnt that a slight bit cheating?

Some cars with a forceful horsepower create the noise with the smokes being put off from the tires because the tyres can't put up with the power of the car resulting in them ticking over and making the control of the driving unsteady when you start accelerating with the car from the rest, this can be solved by putting the traction control on the machine or stepping on the brake cautiously not to the extent where the speedmeter reaches at the tip of the torque.
