as mentioned around here a lot: PD will be testing all kind of cars includign ferrari's doesn't actually mean they'll be in the game.... Ofcourse they want them to be in there, but hey, in the end it's just business..... as usual....

a 250 SWB would be nice!

I mean, maybe I'm wrong but I recall some pic I've seen last week that was taken in the PD headquarters - made by people from www.gamespy.com who went to PD during their visit to Tokyo Game Show.

There was lots of pics showing that kind of paper-clusters with car manufacturers and I think that in cluster with Fiat there was drawer saying "3200 GT". I think somebody just replaced it with Ferrari.

Not sure, must check when I come to a faster int-connenction, loading those pages with 56k isn't a really sport.

No hard feelingz if I7m wrong...

Yea, but who would have thought that GT2 would have Porsches (RUF), and GT3 would have a Lamborghini (NOMAD)? Anything can happen.

Yeah that pic is very official and very real. KY has made it very clear he has a keen interest on having Ferrari in GT4, so they will of course be gathering all the information they can, and have probably already modelled some Ferrari's for the game, have them all ready, and if they get the licence they can just put them into the game, they just can't show any proof of that. Luca di Montezemelo (Ferrari President) has made it also known that he would like to see his company in the Gran Turismo series for marketing purposes, so you never know

Yea, I think ferrari would love there cars in gt4 because the GT series is the best and what company doesn't want their car in gt4? Ferraris in gt4 will not only make gt4 more popular it will show all how it feels to drive a 355 on the Fuji track and I think everyone wants that. GT4 will already have super realistic phyics and lambos and ferraris are idea for the game. I sure as want to see how a 355 handles.

By the way, even though this photo was published at a news site, that Ferrari drawer looks suspiciously 'Shopped. I don't believe for a moment that Ferrari will be in GT4, or even that there's any Ferrari data in that drawer.

No it's not a photoshop, thats a good point bout the Lambo looking logo, though, it is out of order there, maybe it's somthing else that has a similar logo.

Everyone that says Ferrari will not be in GT4, thus PD is not collecting data is full of it. They have been collecting data on Ferrari, and probably have all the Ferrari cars they're interested in modelled and have the physics done, so that if they get the permission to put Ferrari in GT4, they can do it at the last minute and not have to model them in a rushed fashion. So no, that photo is NOT Photoshopped, it is legit, believe it or not

The name Lamborghini wasn't. Which is why they (Lambo) didn't allow the thing to be in for every market.

Ok, but the car is there, which means they did research on Lambs for GT3, and it's not surprising that they're doing it again for GT4 too.

I still think that picture is a mockup. I did a search but I can't find a thread where somebody posted links to the gamespy.com site like 2 weeks ago when story about PD was published.

Hondakid mentioned it in one of his posts though. Unfotunately, pics on gamespy were reduced and now that pic with FIAT drawer is missing. I'm still 100% sure that there was "3200 GT" label above the FIAT drawer.

And as Ferrari is concerned - I'm positive about PD having Ferrari tested, and even sound recorded. But will it be in the game or not is not up to PD.

As for now, Sony don't have rights to use Ferrari products and insignia in their games. Holders of Ferrari rights are Microsoft, Electronic Arts and SEGA. And only SEGA has a official Ferrari licenced games - Yu Suzuki's masterpieces: F355 Challenge, and new one - OutRun 2, which is an arcade cabinet game based on Cririro hardware, due to out in November.
