So I need cars for the Lambo and Ferrari races in Professional A-Spec. I also need a fast Italian car for the Italian cup to finish out Amateur.

Will I win a Lambo or Ferrari anywhere or do I just have to bite the bullet and buy both of them? I only have about 400k CR right now and I'd rather not blow it all on two super cars just for one race series.

Thanks.

Grab a nice MR Ferrari and kill a few birds with one stone: Italian races, Ferrari races, and MR races. Though it may be random, I was gifted a Gallardo after completing (I think) all the Professional series of races. Good luck!

👍

Yeah, I saw that I might get a Ferrari or Lambo after the Professional races, but I need both to finish them, so that doesn't help any, lol.

So basically, I probably need to buy one of each. That's gonna put a dent in the finances.

I could also sell some of the prize cars I've won. I've got quite a few cars I don't need. I haven't sold anything yet, because I like collecting cars.

Will it let you sell one of a kind cars that you can't win or buy ever again?

keep checking used car market, i just bought a lambo countach with low miles for a silly price, sure it was under 100k around 75 or less even

also saw the gt4 skyline pace car for sale, had to get it even tho i couldnt afford it.

Treat yourself to a Scuderia or F40 and go have fun winning a few race series! Worry about the Lambo race later.

👍

I got a Murcielago 640 Chrome as part of my game package, then I won a Countach, as a prize after winning the Lambo race. I won a Challenger right after I bought one and tuned it up to win the race that gave me one as a prize . :)

It seems silly to me that everyone can use cars they got as part of pre-order packages or whatever, as part of the GT Life. Makes things a lot easier.

I probably wouldn't use them if I had them, only in Arcade, or after I could have afforded them anyway.

And you got the Countach from the Lambo race I believe, which doesn't do me any good.

I used my Buick Special for that. Slightly tuned with some tires and suspension. That thing is like a race car with a Buick body.

I agree, I got the 5 chrome line cars and an sls stealth edition but I won't touch them until I need them.

I won a 74 Countach for something... Don't remember what. There's a thread listing the prize cars somewhere...

Oops. I won it in the Lambo race. Guess that doesn't help.

You only win a Ferrari and a Lamborghini in the Ferrari and the Lamborghini event on professional, so this doesn't help. The Lamborghini you'll win is very useful for some classic car races.
I got myself a Ferrari 458 Italia. With racing tires and some cheap tuning it's fast enough to easily win the Supercar Festival and La Festa Cavallino. It's probably fast enough to also tackle the Granturismo World Championship and some of the later expert races too.
I own the Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640 as well, but the Ferrari is less difficult to drive.

Buy a 458 and mod it. That or a Scuderia. Their versatility is what I like about them the most. The 458 doesn't rev, it screams.

Buy a nice ferrrari, as stated above it too is italian and can be used in both races. Complete all of the other events and skip the lambo one for now and come back when you have the cash for one! That's my plan as I'm going to be buying me a scudari real soon!

The 458 and 670-SV are the best bet for those races. Plus, with some tuning they can be used to win the lv14 championship as well.

I bought the 458. My god. Even stock that thing is brilliant.

edit: even after I tuned it to 650 HP and then had to put Sport: Hard tires on it for the Clubman Cup my B-Spec driver can keep it on the road and is smoking the Clubman Cup. He can't even manage to not spin a stock M3, but he hasn't spun this once, despite being MR and having 650 HP.

I might have to tune this one all the way, it's just so nice.

I found the 670-SV a bit unruly and had to tune it up a bit. Probably would have done it differently if I could go back.

Everyone seems to own this Murcielago CV?
I just bought it & heck, do not turn while braking. It won't forgive you.

You sure about that, its one of the best for handling, even when it slides it can be easily controlled, sure you never got the standard Murcialago, now thats a whole different story.

Definately takes a fine balancing act between brake, wheel, and throttle. But when you get it right you are amply rewarded. :)

Odd thing is... The 74 Countach is much more stable under braking. Wouldn't you think they'd get BETTER in 25 years instead of worse?

Has anyone tried the Ferrari 599? I have - and love - the 458, but I can't quite decide which supercar to buy next.
Right now it's probably between the 599 and the Lambo LP670-4.
