Basically I didnt make buying this car a priority when I first got GT5 due to bad reviews on this forum & the $1,000,000 price tag. I eventually done what I wanted to do with the game and had a fair bit of money lying around so I went to the Ferrari dealership & picked me up a white Enzo.

Only mods I put on it was a rear wing & racing medium tyres.

Reason Im making this thread is I cant believe how much people seem to dislike this car, I have owned it for a couple of weeks now & can safely say its in my top 5 favourite street cars ( Enzo, Muira, GTR 09, DC5 Integra, SLS AMG ), I know the handling isnt as great as other cars in it class but its not that bad either & once you get the hang of it it becomes a really fun car to drive, The sound is good and the speed is mind blowing. Say what you want about it, I love it.

The handling is not bad at all...it just spins real easy so you have to control the throttle..mine is on sports soft and thats it....To me its the best supercar to buy, it out accelerates every car!!! only the veyron can top it only in top speed(stock for stock) other than that, it will pull on the veyron till about 200...its super beast...
1. Enzo Ferrari
2. Evo XI
3. Evo X
4. 458 italia
5. F40

my top 5

you got a Evo XI ? xDD > IX*

While not a bad car, I could name a half dozen other Ferrari's in this game that I like better. This is one just doesn't have performance respective of the price tag over its siblings.

This car for me requires quite a bit of setting up before it matches my driving preferences, and I'm sure a lot of you will agree when you don't want to deal with that massive understeer. Otherwise, it's a gorgeous car and is lightning quick. It goes from 0 to 200 mph in no time.

^ This.

But I'm absolutely heartbroken by how PD messed up the engine sound completely:(

Flatplane V8 (similar to the ones on the Italia and F430):

Ferrari Enzo V12

The current PD sound work on a car which has a V8, but it doesn't change the fact that is still sounds nothing like the Enzo V12, even with stock exhaust. They could've used the sounds from the 599, considering it actually sounds like a V12 is supposed to.

GT5 Enzo, doesn't matter if it is tuned or not. Compare to the Modena video.

Enzo from GT5 demo, notice how it has the same distinctive exhaust note of the V12 in the real Enzo video?

Don't get started with a "get better speakers" blablabla. I've tested it on both types of systems.

It's a great car. no doubt about it. Took her for an early spin on the 'Ring the other day, which was quite a handful for the first few minutes.
From understeer to snap oversteer, a few offs, you know the drill.
But once the tires gripped properly (sports medium), she was going berserk on the track!
Really had a blast, drove her for 4 laps and had probably the best time yet in GT5!

I love the car, although I haven't driven it that much.
Took it around the Ring bone stock. It drained my entire concentration for a week in advance. Ubelievably fast, but very tricky to drive, at least on standard tires (sport hard). I'll try it with sport soft - should be much more manageable.

I totally agree, its one of my favourite cars. I have 2 of a few cars, one stock, one modified, this is one of them.

Great car, just have to get the tune right. No perf mods cept an oil change. Soft sport fronts, med sport in the back then light on the suspension, I have D(e)3-(c)2-rollbars3 for front and rear. SR I have f8.5-r9.5 and camber f1.6-r0.6
Not perfect (spend most of my time in race cars) but can throw it around the ring pretty well with those settings. The default tune on 99% of the cars in GT5 is pretty bad and the Enzo is no exception.

I don`t want to sound like an ass, but somebody needs to put Kazunori into prision for making the 458 italia + racing exhaust sounding THAT bad. It doesn`t even sounds like a car, it has a awesome engine sound with stock exhaust and transmission...

Also, the Enzo vid from the demo uses the same engine sound as the 599 from GT5P, they changed it for GT5.

PD is copy pasting to much things in this game. Copy pasting car models from pre 2004 into a 2010 game? Bad!
Using the same sound sample for a Toyota Minolta (Group C car!), NOMAD Diablo and Takata Dome NSX... EPIC FAIL!
