Ill be honest with the 2.01 update it is the worst ever

The new update completely changed the Physics for the Ferrari F10 , you can feel it the most in tight circuits but it can't get any worse in highspeed tracks like suzuka.

Im talking mainly for online physics with tyre wear and fuel load and real kerb/outside grip , DFGT with steering simulation settings like everyone else.

First of all the new update wether its 2.0 or 2.01 , 2.0 already made it arcadish , 2.01 just wrecked it really. I don't know what the people are thinking or whoever are behind it, I just know im hating the physics behind 2.0 and 2.01. cause it really is so hideous like more than arcade.

the Ferrari F10 became very lazy and became very understeery and now you can only get oversteer from throttle , and not the usual oversteer from bumps or steering, this to me is the worst change ever because the F10 or let alone the 2009-2013 regulations doesn't apply to the new update/change because first of all the car doesn't oversteer anymore unless you don't know throttle control , If you corner like Schumacher there will be understeer but that's my real description of the change because its so overwhelmingly wrong.
The reality is because first of all the cars have bigger and lower front wings and the rear is very slim and slippery and now im getting so much understeer around cote d'azur and no oversteer at all so you know its really wrong to have the opposite of what it is , the Ferrari F10 before 2.0 was the real Ferrari F10 not this fireball.

Second of all in Cote D'azur the track is very bumpy and the elevation is huge and because its a street circuit a lot of its tarmac are less grippy ones so to me you know after the update the F10 really turned into an arcade single seater car. The f10 before 2.0 was really the f10 and the f10 after 2.0 is really not the f10.

Third of all , Im sure by watching F1 cars and by listening to what they drivers describe it as one of the most responsive cars even with other kinds single seaters , they are very driver connected and driver directed and for the F1 its the most so this change really needs a real change because its very very lazy and its very understeery and the realistic oversteer from bumps or steering and the car itself is gone? unreal.

you can see just watching the videos onboard : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19jSMAQkluI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4d9jXJPqIQ
it was like that before 2.0 came :(

The thing you have to understand is this is a simulator and one of the best so for the real F10 simulated into a realistic F10 and now turned into an arcade F10 is just so underwhelming , I wouldn't be surprised at all if the main reason for this change was drivers that can't control the car because there's 1 more thing you really have to understand , now this is the most important of all to those who have caused this arcade change. Single seater cars are never easy and its not about anybody can control them its about you being able to control them so it is incredibly ruined for a realistic turned into arcadic.

you try the real team simulator and drive the current cars 2009-2013 regulations
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjJdxhvF4dk
and its impossible.

Ayrton Senna Principle of Driving , acrobatic talent is either what you have or you don't.

so a realistic F10 turned into an arcadic F10

lastly, the f2007 is now even quicker and even easier after the update and if you ask anyone honest enough , the f2007 is way easier than PD karts. The F2007 or its regulations like 2008 are the regulations that really understeers but it doesn't understeer and at the same time there's completely no oversteer I mean 99% non , this car has to have more understeer.

It just feels so unreal in cote d'azur.

PD please think about the older F10 its like

but now its like f1 codemaster , please PD bring the old F10 back

the f10 feels like a pig , only worse and it feels so unresponsive and so lazy and really like i have never experienced before

The whole f10's handling is now arcade , im talking about online physics with tyre wear and fuel load , before 2.0 it was so genuine , then 2.01 a real asteroid totally made it worst than arcade , this is not acceptable for a simulator.

Before I could feel the loss of grip from bumps and tarmac and elevation from Suzuka's hairpin now its gone, the Sector 1 feels just like any other corner , very lazy like what I said like a pig only worse - this has nothing to do with me hating it , Im just saying the truth now , The R130 taken flat out at fine difficulty now is taken at no difficulty. The braking is very lazy , the steering especially is so unsensitive like what I said they've wrecked it at 2.01 , 2.0 was already arcade now 2.01 its really over now. The S corner in nurburgring gpf feels so stupid , I never really use stupid but its really stupid you know.

You know they did a great job with 2.0's no ABS but the cornering in 2.0 to me was already arcade style.

If only it could be F10 physics before 2.0 and then have the no-ABS braking like 2.0 , I would be happy not just for myself but for other people who knows and wants to drive in a real simulator. I just don't understand how much worse it could get now , comparing 2.01 to 1.9 is like comparing coal to gold - again nothing part of my hating , im just saying the truth.

Have you tried changing the suspension, LSD or aero setup? You can make it over- or understeer as much as you want.

The the car just seems like a slowed down X2010 now; I could easily beat last years Suzuka lap time when before I was a many few tenths behind and pushing my hardest.

Yeah, the car does feel much more similar to the X2010 now. You can just keep pushing and pushing and it doesn't oversteer.

Plus I've also been finding some odd reactions from some very little curbs that cause very dramatic oversteer, never experienced anything like this before the Spec 2.0 update.

Those 'very little curbs' can and will upset the car if you are hitting them in traction zones when the car's weight shifts backwards. This is realistic and you see that with F1 drivers in real life all the time.

I feel that they have replicated the planted feeling you see in onboard videos when at high speed really well. Often the car felt too 'floaty' pre-Spec II, but now you can feel mechanical grip in slower corners (before it felt like overall grip loss, not just aero) and aero grip in high speed stuff, with definite moments of critical mechanical grip making you reign in the speed a bit.

Small tip: Stop using RS tyres and switch off the ABS, you know, for the realism.

has nothing to do with the set up , its the update that turned it into an arcade F1 car and actually it slowed the car on tight circuits which is purely wrong because reventon10 the only person who knows car control on a ferrari f10 does 1.09.7 in cote d'azur with no ABS and he does it with the car control you see on the 2011 f1 onboard on monaco , D-UNEXPECTED uses ABS and automatic and a pad controller and he's done 109.4 and the times im taking about are with online physics , real outside, kerb grip and tyre / fuel load and the fuel they had when they've done those laps are with 90% fuel but the new update made the car so unlively and so unreal and even makes it slower on the fastest drivers.

The feel of the F10 is actually similar to F1 codemaster's , you could tell the arcade physics.

Big tip : this has nothing to do with the tyres or ABS and I actually don't use ABS but sure that makes it realistic.

And about the racing softs , before the update and in suzuka with soft tyre's it actually snap oversteers which is very realistic for soft racing tyre's.

with harder compounds it doesn't snap and its very predictable and controllable.

Its simple physics, the 2009-2013 car snaps with soft tyre's because the front is so wide and low and then the wing is tiny and higher and the whole rear is slimmer and slippy , when you think of it when more of the front tyre's are pushed to the road much more and less on the rear then that has the snap oversteer effect on soft tyre's which is again very realistic.

But now I guess the big front wing is now at the back and the tiny front wing is on the front , its totally unreal.

well that I can tell you in cote d'azur , those real details are gone.

It just feels so unrealistic compared to what it had been which it had been so real like literally this real in its turbulent stability just like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOEdAf7Rl2U

spa is nice with the f10 but the f2007 is 2 seconds quicker , its really bizarre and yet the f2007's physics are easy its probably made to be so it can be accessible to anybody who drivers it , personally because its so accessible to anybody and so easy I think it should understeer much more just to slow it down a bit and not make it have x1 grip of steering

the f2007's far too easy factor in its physics is fine , its made to be so it can be accessible for anyone who wants to try F1 but in terms of quickness its way too fast.

For the F10 they have changed the physics again after changing it in 2.01 , its still easier than the f10 before 2.0 but there was nothing like the one before 2.0 when the physics were nice. I wish the one before 2.0 can come back.

The physics of the F10 before 2.0 came were next to reality in simulation.

And I've played simulators like rfactor or iracing and they are all non sense compared the the F10 before 2.0 came

The no ABS when 2.0 came was very good

but the whole physics of the F10 before 2.0 was again next to reality

the F10 should be kept as it should be closest to reality , I wish they can get the physics of the f10 before 2.0

2.0's no ABS is great but everything else should be before (pre) 2.0 for the F10 at least.

I would say the change thats just been made after 2.01 is similar to 2.0

but again there's nothing quite like the one before 2.0 came

That post was brought to us by the Department of Redundancy Department.
Pretty sure you could have summed up your frustrations in three sentences instead of restating your point over and over.

I do agree though, the F2007 is a touch easier now than it used to be.

The f10 now feels like arcade , seriously it feels indirectly lazy and lazy. I hope the physics before 2.0 came can come back. I just tested in cote d'azur with tire wear / fuel and real kerb, outside grip and it does feel arcade. Before 2.0 , it felt just so direct and responsive and sensitive , now its the opposite.

Why don't compare them on Fuji, Suzuka, Monza or SPA?

Also, Most High Down force in GT series are act like Fiction

In spa its not so bad , still not good though and in suzuka its really bad , the oversteer is gone completely , in suzuka 2.0 made it arcade then 2.1 really killed it , it does on those tracks too but the most underwhelming experience is in cote d'azur in all f1 tracks at least. 2.0 and 2.1 really executed the physics and what I mean by executed is killed :( Just hope the 1.12 if I remember correctly comes back

It does feel Arcady, I got into f1 after 2.1, and it surprised me because it was easier then I remembered, guess that's why. Might tone it down to rm or rh just so it's not so grippy.

I absolutely hate the f10 now. Its all I used and now I don't even touch it. Take it around a fast sweeper, understeer. Take it through a dip, you're going backwards. Get on the gas like a normal human after a hairpin, you might as well be riding a loading dolly. Monaco is the one and only f1 track I can still get perfect laps on. Spa I'm fine on too except for coming onto the finish straight after the last chicane.

I haven't tried the F10 yet but the F2007 did seem easier than the last time I used it (pre-2.00). The F2007 was definitely the easier of the two to drive. This is worthy of investigation / a good excuse to tear up some asphalt!

I know the f2007 had been easy and that's okay because thats the 2007 car and to make it accessible to anyone is okay. The F10 was very good in 1.12 if I remember, 2.0 made it arcade and 2.1 killed it, It really hurts to see the f10 like this , its awful. Completely changed and completely destroyed like what I've been saying the car became very lazy and indirect and there's nothing sensitive about it which is the complete opposite of a single seater car , when it was 1.12 the physics were a challenge and I could say it is very accurate when thinking about f1 drivers describing how lively , responsive and direct and twitchy the cars are and now this is just unacceptable 2.0 arcade then 2.1 destroyed it.

What? Just drove that thing for the first time and oversteered in the first corner! Didn't do anything to the car. Easy to drive is not how I would discribe it.

I doubt you can drive even the pd karts and not crash. You just drove the worse than arcade "thing" and crashed and that's because you do in anything you do. To reply that what you said is just a bit too stupid.
It does oversteer if you don't know throttle control but even now the power oversteer is no challenge you would have to be one of the worst drivers in the world to get an oversteer from its current physics but it does not oversteer, I would describe it easy to drive with lazy , indirect , unresponsive handling but not just the handling but the whole car itself is worse than arcade , in 2.0 it was made arcade , 2.1 just made it even worse. Again it feels like the opposite of what it should be , ex: twichy not anymore , responsive not anymore , everything is the opposite now and that's why its not a single seater anymore , it is now worse than arcade. 2.0 made it arcade and 2.1 destroyed it. The new updates for the f10's physics have been the worse there's ever been. And what I mean by worse is worse than arcade.

Hopefully the physics from 1.12 can come back

I cant believe it , the S corner in Nurburgring GP feels like manure now and even worse is r130 in suzuka ,not just those but everything is now, its like there's manure on the tarmac everywhere , and the worst is the physics of the car itself. The tires feel like manure. The F10 in 1.12 was the real definition of its simulation , now its the real definition of an absolute manure.
