Ferrari F10 worth the money?

lv 24 ticket... 1/3 chance..lol

It's not really 1 in 3, though, as each of the 3 cars has different liveries/colors that are possible to get.

I know I reloaded my 24 ticket about 30 times and didn't once see an F10.

Finish A-Spec Extreme and/or B-Spec Extreme and you'll get a lvl 24 ticket which will give you a Ferrari Formula or if your luck is bad, another FGT. Then you won't lose a dime on a Ferrari Formula and you can take part in that nice Ferrari Formula seasonal event. The only problem is the A-Spec FGT race is essentially an Endurance race while all B-Spec Extreme races are also extremely long.
I didn't get either of these (although can't remember what I did get), so don't count on it - there's no guarantee.

Yes, for the most part, B-spec will keep you guessing. B-spec will keep you thinking!

So the financial reward for the seasonal event is pitiful for having to buy a 10 million credit car - but is the actual racing experience of it worth while?

IMO, no it isn't.

I spent the ten mil and bought the F-10 to do the Ferrari seasonals.

I wish now I had the ten mil back.

There is not enough credits or xp in the races to make it worthwhile.

As for just the race experience itself, I found it underwhelming.

I want all cars so I didn't mind (that much) when I bought mine. It's a very good car and very easy to drive, so you should be able to have some fun at least.

Unless you are a car collector I'd say either Ferrari isn't worth buying at this point. I could be wrong here but there aren't any guarantees that PD will keep the Ferrari F1 seasonals up after the next update and if they don't, what good was spending that 10 million? Now trading for a F1 like I did was totally worth it. I'm glad I didn't buy one because even after all the racing I did in the Ferrari F1 seasonals, I highly doubt I even came close to 10 million in credits earned.

Totally agree about trading for one instead of wasting the credits to buy it yourself.

@ the time I bought my F2007 I was completely & utterly gutted because I was not allowed to use my 12.5mil race car in nothing but practice, one make & online races. With the release of the seasonal events I am not so miffed @ spending the credits I did for my F2007 because the races are worth a good amount or exp points. Exp points are more valueable to me @ this points since I have reached Lvl 33.

I would recommend you trade for a Lvl 24 ticket & use the game save feature to get the cars you want out of that ticket. Hopefully you have better luck with it then I did & get an F10. If you don't then no worries because you can get all the FGT's & F2007 out of that ticket.

It's very limited as to where you can use it but I am a huge F1 fan and the car was a must have for me.

Is there any challenge to the race or are the AI drivers just as easy to beat as they are in every other race?

I've more than made back the credits I spent on the F2007. The seasonal Ferrari events all pay around CR200,000 and around XP40,000. Of course, I bought in on day 1 of the seasonals in mid-February, so I've had lots of time to do them.

I find the challenge (for me, at least) isn't the AI cars, although those d***s will shove me off-track when they can, but my driving. I haven't yet managed to gold Suzuka, despite many, many tries. I think these races are some of the most enjoyable driving I've had in GT5 for a while...and 198,000/40,000 at Indy is pretty sweet for ~13 minutes!

i totally agree on this.. i traded a pair of M3s for my Ferrari F1 cars.. i wouldve been very pissed if i had wasted cash on these myself..

The seasonals pay in the ballpark of $200,000 each and 10k+ xp. So for all 5 you get around $1mil and 50k xp. They are 10 laps and like in the FGT races, if you spin you lose. I used a borrowed F2007, fought hard to get out front, then danced on egg shells to stay there. I'm sure with a wheel it's much easier.

Edit: I'm sure you can find someone here to 'friend' so you can just borrow one of the Ferrari's. Unless they make a habbit of seasonal events for these karts, purchase is not worth it IMO.

Sorry but that is completely false for the Ferrari Seasonal Events. I don't even have the fastest times for these events & I am able to easily win them all. My second time driving the F10, I spun out @ least four times on the Eifel event & still won by @ least 5 seconds.

Take a look @ some of the times people are running :

If I'm racin real good I can win the F1 events by 15 seconds or more easily. On the Eifel track the ai slows down way too much and I can win that race by a minute or more providing I don't screw up too much. I roll with traction at 1 and abs at 2.

I'm glad it was easy for you.

I myself had trouble with the FGT's also so karts just aren't my thing. When I got out front I would smack the wall or drop a tire into the grass ( Indy) and 2nd would be back on my tail. I didn't spin at all on Eifel but did use caution over the blind hills, won by a few seconds.

What he said. I spun on the 10th lap when doing these races last night, and fought my way back to 3rd in one lap. There is a heavy "boost" effect (whatever its called) so the lead cars never get too far behind or ahead. Its nothing like the FGT races... but still fun.

Dont forget, you can do the same race over and over and get paid each time.

I have yet to come to grips with my FGT's. Both Ferrari F1 cars are a breeze to drive compared to an FGT.

Course memorization is key to going fast on any course. My first time on the Ferrari Eifel circuit I too was boucing off the walls & losing control on the blind hills.

It is worth it if you are okay with spending a lot more money than you will win from it. I really enjoyed racing it, especially on the eifel course. I say get it because the races are usually fun and competitive, the smallest mistake and you will fall to the rear of the field.

I think the car is worth it if you're an F1 fan. It sounds exactly like an F1 car and has the full realistic cockpit view unlike the FGT. Yeah you can't play A-Spec or B-Spec, but this car is aimed at people who like to do timed laps and who just like to collect beautiful expensive cars. :)

It's a fun car to drive... I share both my F2007 and F10 if you want to test them out first?

It's totally worth it. I love my F2007 and can drive it pretty fast no problem. I won all the Ferrari Seasonal events on the first try. Which is kind of odd b/c I can't drive the FGT for the life of me. I guess it's b/c of the increased power and decreased downforce it has.

Also, I use the DS3...for now.

Online Ferrari F1 races are some of the closest I've raced. Either car is worth the money. The F2007 is easier to drive but the F10 is faster on tighter circuits.
