i totaly agree there needs to be a time limit of about a month then the threads get locked automatically.

Yeah but if they are still popular then they keep going past 1 month

no problem then we just add a hit or post counter and if there is no activity at all on it for a month then it will get locked.

They can be locked after 1 month inactivity and you can always ask a mod to re-open it if it is your thread.
No mod would make a problem out of that....

thats the problem tho right now they CAN be (key word is can) what im saying is they NEED to be automatically.
