Ferrari trailer made by PD wins. pretty cool how PD used alot of ingame footage, especially on the track scenes. i cant belive that a 2 year old game (gt5p) looks almost as good as GT5 trailer. i didnt think PD could improve 1% over GT5p, but grats to them for achieving that 1%.

At the above pictures- I am not too sure how much better PD can get. The best way for me to tell what is PD's pics, and what is real, is the backgrounds.

Also, I am convinced that the GT video is in-game AND some isnt. I came to this conclusion last night. While watching the video for the 3rd time  I told my wife to look at the video and to note the realism. She obliged. After a few shots she said "look how cartoony it looks now compared to the previous scene." My subjective point of view couldnt tell, but her ojective view could.

Only thing i hope PD improved, is the tires screatching sound. that is one area that i hope they worked on. as for any else, i think they are doing a good job.

Question

at :47 in the video does the driver hit the paddle shift?

GT5P didn't have paddle shift animations for road cars, maybe this is in GT5

Doesnt the driver in the Ferrari California push the button to shift gears?

My mistake, didnt know that, never drove the California.

How do you think PD will handle the KERS system of the F458?

If hybrids are modeled accurately in GT5, shouldn't KERS be as well?

no Kers in 458, it's on F60 f1

F458 has KERS
No, it doesn't. Ferrari have been having some trouble with it in the F1 car, and decided not to showcase it on a production car just yet. Maybe the 458 Scuderia or whatever sporty name they give the next model.

It's rumored to be announced in December at the LA Auto Show as an option.

Hmm the Forza 3 video is better. The GT5 video LOOKS better!!. The cars look great in Forza until the poor motion wheels ruin the graphics to a small degree. The cars seem to float above the shadows, not sure why that over do it with the low angles to show such an obvious error. Maybe its the tire flexing that causes it. How can this be the best looking racing game this generation with such poor motion wheels?

I don't like the way driver holds the steering wheel with thumbs.

SO, you'd rather have broken thumbs after the jolt from driving over curb has smashed the steeringwheels spokes against them? :dopey:

Video I Made using PD's Tribute, No where near as good as NDeluxeBeats, but it was worth a try.
