Does the Ferrari GT Experience wheel work with this game.
PS3AC36.jpg

It's not on the official compatible wheels index

So anyone who has this wheel. Does it work with this game?

I think you already know the answer to your question, my guts tell me that it's probibly a gamble but it could work.

I think it should work since they sell them in my local game and they advertise them there with gt5p. So then its not ferrari experiance only and should work.

Maybe it only works with the ferrari. That's the ferrari experience.

edit: It doesn't work

@ David – are you sure Thrustmasters are talking with Codemasters?

Here’s a reply I just got from Codemasters:

Thank you for submitting your recent request to Codemasters Customer Services concerning F1 2010.

Unfortunately only the following controllers are fully supported.

DUAL SHOCK 3
Logitech Driving Force EX/RX
Logitech Driving Force Pro
Logitech Driving Force GT
Logitech G25 Racing Wheel
Logitech G27 Racing Wheel
Thrustmaster RunNDrive Wireless Rumble Force
Thrustmaster Dual Trigger Rumble Force

However, if you start the game with the normal controller connected you may be able to set your wheel up within the controls section of the game.

We are unable to confirm, at this stage, any plans to increase the number of wheels supported.

- Can anyone try the suggestion above to see if it works? If not I suggest everyone complains to Codemaster ASAP – setup an online petition or something!

:indiff:
I think I might just get the DFGT. It's more expensive but it's better.

Hi, don't mean it won't work with F2010( search about a bit, see if others using it or not etc), there just wheels tested up to the eyeballs, by Codemasters, then classified official ie 'setting' up prob in game, named etc, not generic wheel set up etc. Think there shoud be one Fanatec wheel on list, but even so other Fanatec wheels work OK ie GT3rs V2(never saw on list, but works).

Cheers BOB

I don't care anymore. I doubt it anyways as people posted in that forum that they couldn't get it working. I really want the driving force gt.
Thank you anyways.

Edit: I don't have enough money for a g25

I just saw the following on the Codemasters Forum regarding their coming patch fix(es):

Increased wheel support – Increased wheel support and force feedback tweaks (where applicable) for the following wheels; Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 Force Feedback (officially supported), Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience (officially supported), Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Pro Clutch (not officially supported but will work), Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S & GT3 RS2 (both officially supported).

GFP is NOT "Fully" supported. It and a few others only allow for 180˚ -_-
