Interested to see if the gr4 meta is still the Alfa like last time, that was fun! Fancy driving something different to the G70 this week, so it might be race C again for me this week
So far it appears to very much be the Alfa. There's a few NSXs and a handful of others, but 90% of top 100 is 4Cs. Race C is mostly Supras, again with a handful of assorted others in top 100

‘Flying’ into the Pits

This guy in race B hit a berm and then flew off into the pits 😳🤣

What's the early thoughts on the daily races? What's the most fun?

I'm going to be home from work in a couple of hours and not sure which one to jump in to and lose my newly gained C ranking in

I’ve only done a race at willow so far, 1.20 odd started 13th and got up to 5th before I lost it last but 1 lap, last corner and spun down the straight and finished 12th 🤣

If You love Tokyo, You'll enjoy Race C as much as I do. The Meta out there is the Supra. RH & RM tyre strategy makes it interesting because You can pit on lap 1 or 11 (as pit lane is in the middle of the lap). You'll be amazed with the whole pitstop scenario. I find it real cinematic to say the least.

Willow Springs I haven't tried but will do so as I love Gr. 4 cars. I think the preferred cars there are M6 & G70 as expected.

Can you actually pit on lap 11 without a penalty? No one in my races seemed to try it, so I'm guessing not. Anyone need to top up the fuel, the Jag only had half a laps worth left at the end.

I enjoyed the early races in the Jag before the Supra became a Meta, if it's Supra or lose in Tokyo, then I'll stick with the Alfa 4C at Willow Springs.

You can indeed.
The Article
That means you can head in during lap one to ditch the Hards, and carry on the rest of the race — or even run 10.75 laps on the Mediums then take the Hards for the final quarter-lap.

Pitting on lap 10 to undercut them is a valid strategy too.

The Jag seems to be a valid anti Supra here, at least it worked for Cyrus this morning in EMEAS top split.

You can pit on lap 11 as the pit lane is in the middle of the lap. So when You exit the pits, You still have about half a lap to complete. I've raced with a few such as AMG '20, Audi R8, R.S.01 etc. I didn't fill fuel in either car as no matter how close to getting over, it won't get completely empty.

I'll try the F-Type tomorrow as well.

Why? There are very good pad drivers and bad wheel drive

I finally read an intelligent comment about the pad and steering wheel. Granted, in racing games, the steering wheel is more fun than the pad, but it all depends on the player. Apparently, people still don't understand.

Here's this weeks guide for those interested! I've gone a bit harsher on the points system (In the description) and also made a few changes to the video while also trying out some new thumbnails (You'll see it change on Youtube as it does its test thingy majig).

As always, I look forward to Your lap guides every Monday @Tidgney . Am sure You found the Race C pit amusing if not shocking. Thanks a ton Mate for the valuable suggestions which at least make a difference to my next 6 days of daily race participation.

Race A has one of my absolute favorite cars in the game.

This was my results from Daily Race B on Sunday, before the change on Monday and I did manage to get 2nd place overall as my best result. I am just editing/uploading the YT video now and will post it after this! 3 races were Dailies and 4 were lobby friendly Sunday racing off a youtubers livestream, which was very fun!

Is that a purple Mazda I see?

I'm converting you all, one at a time

Had a little blast at daily race C tonight.

Took my time and spent a good 45 mins qualifying and learning the track first as per people’s advice 💪💪

Qualified in P4 with 1.59.487 on all 3 races!

1. Span out 2nd corner on first race 🤦‍♂️

2. P2 on second race which I was absolutely buzzing about as was worried about doing my first long race with pitstop as I’d just got back into C. Race went perfectly!!!

3. Quit whilst you’re ahead they say? 🤦‍♂️ P4 again, got absolutely wrecked twice on the second big turning and then ended up in P16! Fought back to P9 and pitted on lap 11 and hit the wrong bloody tire!!!! 1 min penalty and a P15 finish erasing all my P2 gains 😞

Enjoyed race c though! Looking forward to having a bash at race b tomorrow and watching Tidgneys guide!!!!

Not quite sure where I’m going to stick this week, race B is going to be the lunch time jaunt, need to keep going to get into the 1.18s, but now into 19s.

Race C seems like the gift that keeps on giving, my QT somehow just kept getting faster and faster although many mistakes throughout and currently in the 1.58s with more to find, the supra is a decent drive around Tokyo and something different.

Good week all

You always go fast at the city tracks!

I’ll probably do a few more Bs and then move over to A as I find the limit car handling more fun for me to play with as I enjoy the challenge of extracting the lines and speed more than the race cars this week.

We will so though, love Willow and won my first GT1 GTWS in effectively the daily C this week.

Yes even A looks like fun this week, could well end up being too much choice!

Lava orange or kiwi green, in the RS6 case it really does suit either frozen colours or loud ones and still looks wolf in sheep’s clothing!
...and to be clear, we're talking wagons here, right?? I mean, if you wanna go all official and stuff I guess we can go with Avant.😁 👍

Thanks Tidgney, you have helped me no end again and today I cracked a Q time of 1:18.659 in Race B by following you and your wise words. Sat 135th world wide 😳
To say I’m chuffed with that time is an understatement as I am a Low/mid DR B racer.
🥳🥳🥳
