The FXX and the Enzo have been the only ones that Ferrari chose.
All others, limited or not, were 1st come, 1st serve. There was no "special customers."

I don't mean Ferrari "chose" them, there was just certain requirments, like for the Enzo I think you had to own at least 3 other Ferraris or something like that.

I could be wrong though, but I'm pretty sure they have something like that set up for most of their cars.

I had to say lamborghini. Although I used to think Ferraris were the best, I love the miura, diablo, and murcialago, so I just think that lamborghini has more variety.
 
Lambo over Ferrari. For me. Lamborghini made a 4x4 called LM002 years ago and it showed versatility to the industry of their capability.

Great Lambos--Countach, Diablo, LM002, Miura, Gallardo, Murcielago.
Great Ferraris--Well, everything basically. But they messed up with the Calfornia Speedster or whatever its called, and their recent cars such as the F430 and Saglietti and Enzo SUCK!!
 
...All I have to say is that the Ferrari 575M and Superamerica are just damn-near-perfect cars, no matter which way you slice them. There is plenty of power, the addition of the F1 or 6-speed manual, and a good ammount of comfort and sport make the models quite capable when compared to some of it's competition.

...Lamborghini could never make something that civilized but with the ability to be that sporty, it just isnt in their nature. They are so obsessed with being in your face with all of their cars, they often forget to bring the performance as well. Look how long it has taken for Lamborghini to get the Murc up to speed with the competition, and even the modded version won't be available for some time.

Lamborghini needs to work on the cars actually lasting through a test, or in another words, reliablity. Murcielago and Gallardo both fried the clutches in C & D test if I'm correct. It's pretty ashaming for a hand-made supercar to fry its clutch over and over again...

Ive already voiced all of my opinions in my original thread-starting post, so I guess Ill just sit back and watch, maybe an occaseional post to reinforce or correct something.

Ferrari, and ive been a pretty big Ferrari fan for a long time now. The only credible competitior to any Ferrari in my mind has to be Pagani. Lamborghini (and Toyota in comparison to Honda) has always been the other guy I could care less about. I dont know what else to say... I guess I could name 100 or so Ferrari road cars and race cars and explain why I love each one, or I could write a long essay about the history of Ferrari, or try to explain Enzo's greatness, but I wont. There is a reason why there is 'GTB' in my username.
 
Well, considering the man who started Pagani worked with Lamborghini before, I guess I could see how he became a much bigger competitor to Ferrari than Lamborghini ever did.
 
Ferrari made awesome cars back in the day but now they just look plain ugly. My favourite would still be the 1982 Ferrari Mondial though.

they are just great machines
lambos seem like they want to be a radical design but they dont quite make it there.
i actually got to ride in a ferrari and a lambo once, the ferrari felt like the better machine and experience, the lambo just felt odd like it was trying to be mean to even the passenger. plus the way every ferrari handles is great.
plus if they get back in their stride of making handsome cars, even better.

I want to congratulate you on wanting a very affordable Ferrari. Not many people can fall in love with something like a Mondial because the lure of a faster greater Ferrari is too much.. If the Mondial was my favorite Ferrari I would own one today. Unfotunately my soul mate is the 355. I'm going to have to wait a few years yet.
