Ferrari t300 racing wheel

Hi all
I Just purchased a Thrustmaster ferrari t300 and I am having trouble fixing the wheel on to the base, I have aligned all the arrows but it will not push on, I even tried aligning the arrows and letting the ring to pull it on to the but it will not go. I would have thought it would go on easy.
I would appreciate any help.

There are some videos on YouTube on how to do this. Inside Simracing made one a few years back.

Basically you align the rim to the base, then you screw the plastic screw section up over the rim and tight. If it isn't working you are probably screwing it the wrong way. Only once the plastic screw is fully tightened and the screw is tightened is the rim firmly attached.
 
Thanks for your help, had to get a new one as the last one was faulty the pins did not line up. I thought I was doing it right. Got the new one wheel went on right away. All I have to do now is learn how to drive lol.
