Ferrari?

No one has exclusive rights to Ferrari at the moment. They are just so hard to get it may seem so. Hence the megacorporations Sega, MS, and EA can all buy them. And the guys making GTR, Simbin, which is a ragtag bunch of dudes who started an internet mod for F1 2001. If they can get the liscense for Ferrari RACE CARS then I don't know why PD can't.
 
Where does this "Club" information come from? The idea that someone outside of the company dictates company policy seems a little rediculous to me. I can imagine a group of people that oversee day-to-day operations, but when the owner of the company says "jump", everybody else just says "how high?"

As for PD not going being able to go against Microsoft, EA, and Sega.. you're probably right. But don't forget who owns PD.

All of you are forgetting one thing. Online mode. What, you ask? How does this have any relavance to FPL? Well, it doesn't. But it is coming out next year, along with the rest of GT4. Maybe if KY can't get the liscences for christmas, he can at least get them before he comes out with the online portion of the game. Maybe toss in a few tracks, a couple photomode locations, and 40 new supercars (FPL), and we got ourselves an entirely new game at hand!! 👍

SimBin [ragtag bunch of dudes who started an internet mod for F1 2001] they don't own the Ferrari licence, they own the licence to the FIA GT Championship and that includes all manufacturers and all track's. Ferrari in order to compete in the GT Championship must let FIA advertise in any way they see fit which would of course be the GTR game.

The Ferrari licence is "managed" for exlusivity, think about it they DONT need to advertise to a bunch of teenagers the more they advertise to this market the more the brand becomes diluted and looses it's sheen.

Why do you think EA have not brought out NFS3 ?

That game ruled......I wish GT4 could have car specific dash's like some other games including F355......
 
its only got one car! they could of had car specific dash, horn and bloody air freshener in the box if they had wanted!
