Ferrari's and Lambo's.. what are my options?

You ever get a hankering to play a certain game?

Lately I've been wanting to race around in some o' those nifty Italian supercars. But, since the racing games with Ferraris and Lamborghinis are all on Xbox, which I don't own, my options seem somewhat limited.

I have a PS2, Gamecube, and PC. Are there any recent games for me to get my Italian fix?

The closest I seem to have at the moment is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2 (the last "true" NFS game). Is that pretty much all there is? It's a nice game and all, but it's showing it's age.

Even next-gen isn't looking too hot in that regard.. Ferrari seems to be exclusive to PGR3 for some reason, even Need for Speed: Most Wanted doesn't have them. Wazzup wit dat? I probably won't even be bothering with Most Wanted.. never much liked the whole "street racing" thing.

Is it a conspiracy?

Well, don't count out the Ferrari on Most Wanted. I mean, after all, its got the Merc. SLR.

But after Most Wanted, I hope to god, EA gets smart and heads back to "true" NFS games. Until then, PGR3 will have to fill my Need For Speed.
 
Did you mean Test Drive about the McMerc and Ferraris? 'Cause the latest preview of NFS:MW seemed to indicate the final game wouldn't have any Ferraris.

I hope Test Drive has them.. And I hope it does a better job than GT4 at engine sounds, especially on the McMerc. That one's multiplatform, yes? I thought I read that somewhere, that TD was coming to PS3, but I can't seem to find any mention of it now that I go looking for it.

Well, I mean, don't rule them out yet.

I'm looking extremelt forward to Test Drive. From what I heard, there's an extremely high amount of customization from your garage to I guess your avatar.

BTW, thanks for bringing up Test Drive, Need to update the thread.

Jedi: Test Drive will in fact feature a Ferrari.
