My buddy and I are sitting here playing GT3 and we want the Spoon Civic Type-R.

Curious as to what you "pros" recommend using to achieve this goal?

So far we have tried:

Honda Integra Type-R
Acura Integra Type-R
Fiat Turbo Coupe
Civic Type-R
FTO
Celica TRD
Celica SS-II
Celica '00

And I think that is it. So far no luck! lol we only need 2 more coarse's completed. Such as Core'd Tez, and Deep Forest.

Thank you.

I used Celica TRD with fully tuned and super slicks tires. It was enough good beat the competition out for me.

The Xsara wrc is FF and should get you through the remaining two..

thanx guys.

My buddy is actually using the Xsara at the moment. And doing great.

Thanx for the quick respones.

Ur welcome sushi and welcome to gtp.. This place is always crowded with GT nerds so don't expect anything else ;)

I used a fully souped Honda Integra and used T2 tires to never pit in. BLEW THEM AWAY

ANY tuned FF will walk this series - our 178hp Mini almost lapped the field at Deep Forest (one more lap and we'd have got them all)...

Just make sure you get the suspension set-up so it feels nice (try a -2.0 rear toe) and alter the gears track-to-track.

thanks guys im glad i found this place, we ended up beating it with the xsara i believe... that spoon civic type R is incredible.... its just fun racing NSX's and owning them with a civic......... thanks for the help ill make sure im on here more... u guys seem awsome, and thanks for the welcome

er.. no problem.;
should have used the fiat tho :(

How True...

I used the completely modded Honda Integra Type R, without tuning. BTW if you havent done the oil change as soon as u get the car, it adds something close to 100 HP. I enjoyed the Pro FF series more than I do most series. Anyways good luck.

should have used the fiat man...gain some respect from the game...use the fiat, use the fiat....!!!

Actually the only FF car i drift in is the Spoon Civic... it handles just like a FR... no need for ebrake...or handbrake... it drifts by itself...

ROll

Apparently FFs are the easiest to drift...I'm guessing because most of the weight is in the front so it oversteers naturally...

Easiest to drift? i doubt so.... FR is to me... not alot of FF can drift in the game you can make setup for it so it can oversteer alittle but... in real life FF cant drift... the reason cuz it produce understeer not oversteer.... FR are the easiest to drift in the game and in real life... but if FF cars are easier to drift for you thats cool... you gotta share some setup with me:lol:

Drifting FF's are very very easy...
Hold E-Brake and floor it(make sure asmtcs is off) then when you want to stop just keep it floored and let off the E-Brake

i agree with Dodge...even though he is a self confessed blithering idiot (spaz)

just throw an FF at high speed int a corner and steer into it(the skid)...next thing you know...your drifting the thing...whats hard about that?

Yeah, I really need to change that title...:O

I found the Integra Type-R to be too powerful for its own good. 3rd+ gear wheelspin, and insane torque steer!

The Xsara is much better, more balanced and more traction!

hmm... nobody has mentioned the beetle cup car, which can have about 420 hp. plus it has pretty much the same handling as the xsara.
