Why is it that say when I turn right with an FF car and let go of wheel (to turn back to normal) the G's that are on the bottom of the screen don't go back to 0 as quick as they would on FR?

Try -1.00 toe on the rear - Not that you should use it for driving, but it should make the car slam into turns like no other :p

And I am supposed to put negative toe on the front. How much?

That's about as open ended as a question can get..!! It depends on a whole plethora of things.

Here's how I initially setup my FF cars, at low PP.

  • Ride Height: Lift the nose by 5mm, leave rear at 0mm
  • Springs: Go to the ballast screen and ascertain your weight distribution. Match your spring strength % to your weight distribution %. If your car has 60/40 weight distribution, set your FR spring to 60% strength and rear to 40% strength.
  • Dampers: EXT F High/Low R - COMP F Low/High R
  • ARB: F Low, R High
  • Camber: F 2.0 R 1.0
  • Toe: F -0.10 R 0.20
  • LSD: 8/16/8

Drive the car and see what needs to be changed. For low PP cars on CS tyres, this will work almost every single time, with only minor tweaks. Get above about 475-500PP and you're on your own...
