FFIX Question

This is a PS1 game but since it is backwards compatible, I thought I'd give it a shot. You know the Spirit value (like Strength, Magic, etc.). Does anyone know what it does? I didn't see anything in the manual, and I can't find it anywhere on the net. Thanks.

It's been ages since I've played that game. It is my favorite FF game of all time. Sorry man, I have no idea what it does.

I'm not sure but I think spirit is either the power of your magic, or magic defense.

I don't like FFIX, mind you I don't like FFX either.
