Every Final Fantasy game ever made besides the one for SNES (3? or 5? I don't know, they couldn't decide on the number for it) sucks.

Tidus from FFX looks like a male version of Meg Ryan. last FF game i've played is FF9.I for sure wont buy FFXII. dude it's like this for Final Fantasy. only a blond hair blue eyed white male can be the hero for Final Fantasy because we all know if he has blond hair and blue eyes he will defeat all evil. Even if he has a monkey tail. sure FF8 had a different looking hero.. but check out the cast. Seifer,Zell,Quistis it wouldnt be complete without them! right! If somehow square made the next FF main hero black I'm pretty sure it would be the lowest selling FinalFantasy Ever and Of course they would have to make him be able to rap and dance too with a gangsta look... and say stuff like for shizzle my nizzle! because he's black.

good examples of square stereo typing are Wakka and the worst Barret. cuz I'm big and black so i have to talk like Mr. T!

You have to understand that Final Fantasy is a Japanese game, not an American game. Japan isn't culturaly deversified as America is.

But these stupid characters have only been introduced in the later FF games. Which the characters were made to be more US friendly. In the older games, on the SNES and NES, the characters were more traditional RPG characters. Mind you in FF6 there was no real main character, well maybe Terra because the whole story revolved around her, sorta. In terms of gameplay/enjoyment, it stopped for me midway through FFIX (Is that 9?).

Thank god Monolith left Squaresoft and joined namco, who knows how they would have effed up the Xenogears/saga series.

is it me, or does tidus sound gay? and 1 more thing...are there ANY non-white main characters in the ff series (with the exception of Barret and Yuffie)?
