I have currently got £1,000,000 and i dont know what to do with it. Do you think i should buy the TVR Speed 12 (which costs £259,804), the Lancia Stratos (which costs £355,719) or save up for the Formula GT for nearly £5,000,000.
I like the Stratos in real life put i like the power of the Speed 12.
Help Please !!!!:)

Save for the FGT and win both Stratos cars in the events below:-

Historic Racing Car Cup: Lancia STRATOS Rally Car '77 (S) - A-Spec
Trofeo Gallardo: Lancia Stratos '73 (S) - B-Spec

The Speed 12 is probably the rarest, pick that one up the moment you see it. The FGT is always in the OCD anyway, so that can wait until you've saved 5 million, which wont take long with seasonal events.

An orange Speed 12 is currently in the OCD along with an FGT and a monza red Stratos. These cars will still be there till Thursday so you've got just under a week to save up for them!

Just an off topic observation.

I don't think the currency resembles the pound sterling. It makes more sense to suggest that it resembles the US dollar instead.

I don't have the figures with me now but that's what I thought when I looked at the car prices in the new car dealership, especially the lower end ones.

The TVR Speed 12 has a surprisingly good aerodynamic, it is on par with C Group race car. Maximum of 80 at the rear and and alot at the front (i am not sure how much exactly)

But i am glad it doesn`t help this car to much with its handling, it would be superior otherwise.

Buy the stratos and the speed 12,as they wont be in the next refresh.

The stratos is an amazing car for any small circuit and is one of the most insane drift cars in the game, due to it's short wheelbase.

Also with a supercharger it has a great power advtange to other things in class.

I just said that because im from england, your right it does resemble the dollar more.
Just realised im only level 19 so i cant get the speed 12 yet but i have bought the Stratos. I spent $550,000 all together with it and i just cant control it, when i turn a corner it just automatically goes sideways. It will take me a while getting used to it.

Imo, the in-game currency should be able to be set to suit the currency of your country in options when you start the game

That'd give a nice degree of immersion for quite a small detail i reckon, as long as the prices were realistically represented :)

On-topic, get the Speed 12!

Should i get the speed 12 because it gets good lap times and it is hard to beat, get it because its very fast in a straight line or get it because it is a fun car to drive?

I have another suggestion: I have two Stratos. You can have one in exchange for a Motorsport Elise (don't know how much it costs), if you have one.

Edit: Which Stratos are you speaking of: the road or the rally one? I have two road-Stratos

The values are neither US dollar or Pound Sterling, but rather generic credits.
PD has stated that it does not correspond to any real life currency, so we shouldn't try to compare GT5 "credits" to real life "prices".

Was one of the great Rally Cars when I was young. If my memory is intact, it won the Monte Carlo.

Was already in GT4. In GT4, I felt it was difficult to handle. Has a better power weight ration than the WRC-cars (without upgrades), but more recent cars are probably better in cornering.
