1 Please ensure you are all in the room ready for the 10 minute duration Time trial qualy that will start dead on 18:30 UK time. If you are late for this you will start from the back of the grid in the race.
2 There should be around 20 minutes of free practice before the race room is reset at 19.05 uk
please ensure you have changed your oild etc etc etc and are in the room ready to go as we will not wait.
3 There will be 1 complete pace lap and the leader will go exiting the final corner - No overtaking until after the start/finish line is crossed.
4 Ensure there is a reasonable gap between cars on the pace lap and the pace car will slow to bunch the field on the back straight ready for go. If you have damaged another car there will be penalty points
5 Ensure any incidents, especially contact with other cars are reported on this thread withing 24 hours of the start of the race - with the drivers involved and the lap of the incident - stewards will vote and issue penalty points for avoidable contact between cars.
6 The race will be long and there is plenty of time and room to pass other cars - DO NOT PUT OTHER CARS IN POSITIONS WHERE THEY HAVE NOWHERE TO GO - THE OVERTAKING CAR MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND ENSURE THAT ANY MOVE THEY MAKE IS VERY CLEAN AND VERY FAIR - IF YOU DIVE UP THE INSIDE OF A CORNER AND THERE IS CONTACT - ENSURE YOU GIVE THE POSITION BACK - THE STEWARD WILL PENALISE ANY AVOIDABLE CONTACT
7 CARS BEING LAPPED ENSURE YOU CLEARLY MOVE TO ALLOW THE CAR LAPPING YOU SPACE TO PASS.
8 If you have a crash that leave your car undrivable it is fair to press the START button and let the autodrive return you to the pits. It is also fair to use the START button when you have crashed to turn and get your car from the crash and back onto the track - It is not ok to press the START button as or before you are having a crash - this is not something we have seen before and not something we will tolerate - If anyone sees any issues where they think this may have happened then you must report this to the stewards, as we have now found a way this can be checked.
Finally i will say this race will be very very close in terms of pace - there are many drivers who have the chance to win the race and it will be almost certainly decided by the least number of errors made.
It is important the this series has no car contact and take all effort to avoid them.
Remember also that the car weight you run will almost certainly change for the next race - dependent on your championship standings - listed on page 1 Index 7 - the new points standings positions will be posted on Wednesday after the results and any incidents and penalty points have been taken into account.
Please all ensure you qualify and race at the correct weights.
Thanks for your support all along the test and pre-season; it was really really long ago since we started planning back in october (right?) I'm crazy excited for this and i couldn't wait. I just hope i'll be cool enough to avoid crashing out first lap
As a last word to all drivers, i need highlights posted asap and no later than 17:00gmt of tuesday, else i'll just record and comment race with what i spotted.
If you plan to give a highlight post it on topic with lap number and drivers involved. I thank you in advance for making video is very time consuming and it would make things way faster and easier!
